I'm so mad!! I have had MRSA for 2 years but my doctors couldn't figure out what it was...I finally figured it out tonight....I'd love to sue my ass clown of a dermatologist for all the physical and mental scars I've obtained from this infection....he told me I had folliculitis!!! Moron!!!

@mysticwindfairy yeah they dont have a friggin clue.. ! i've had it for ten years and the doc just sent me to dermatolocist who told me i have roscea or lupus.. no auto immune in tests, so these fuckwits were dumbfounded. they wanted me to take a cream that will abort your child if you are pregnant.. what a joke the medical system is.. dont bother.. just heal yourself the natural way by boosting your immune system.

Last summer I had boil show up on my butt. Yes embarrassing. It hurt really bad. It started out like a cyst on the skin,but got worse. I couldn't sit or walk the pain was that bad. It went away .2 weeks later. I had another one 10x worse than the first near the same spot. I went to the doctor they popped it to get the puss and blood out. She tested the blood for MRSA. I came back negative. Now,I have the same red bump of where the first one is. Its been a year since I had a staph infection.

All of us need to know more about the infection and seems like population is unaware of its implications simply because they don't know about it. I heard of a blue LED light treatment which kills the bacteria by shuining the light over the wound.

@mushy96 you have to fight it from the inside as well, boosting the immune system, antibiotics destroy your ability to fight it in the end,. ive had impetigo attacks about once a year for ten years. taking antibiotics all the time has ruined my absorption of nutrients, and now i cant; get rid of the infection at all. it is resistant to it. and now MRSA.. beware of persistent antibiotic use.!

@Jizzmasterpino. Was a stupid doctor, broad spectrum cannot get rid of infections and bacteria at skin level. 1 week on clindamycin cured me. The drug will kill almost every drug resistant bacteria..at least for now

@hairyfatslobpig I have staph aureus in my penis, tested. Test showed bacteria was controlled by amoxicillin, doctor prescribed some pills, did not work. I tried it inyected. did not work. I have a white spot in the head of my penis with some sort of callus. When I take a shower the white spot turns whiter. It seems a very tough bacteria to control.

I don't know who told you that, staph colonization is tough but definitly not permanant. Yes, many people carry this harmlessly in their nose and do not get infected. Im sorry someone drilled the thought of it "being permanant" into your head.

i have been so clueless about it,

and i thought they just couldn't come up with the reason for mrsa,

i had a mrsa boil under my arm,

and i had to go to the hospital and have it cut opened and drained,

and just about a week and a half ago i had another just under my leg,

and they also put me on bactrim like someone else said earlier,

and now has a scab on it : )
