You don't have to live here for a year in order to go to CC here...you would just pay out of state tuition for that year. After a year, you get to pay in state tuition.

The difference is tuition costs for state resident versus non-resident status is tremendous. Start at a community college then transfer to a 4/5 year university for your bachelors degree; it's cheaper.  Just make sure that your community credits are transferable to the university level. Avoid "General Studies" course work; it's a waste of time and is usually not credible to a four year degree.

Loved your video Bruce. It was the most festive one by far. Agree completely with what you said regarding Wednesday and the fact that you said it nicely. :) Congrats on getting accepted to college. If you go to community college or university here in the stated really research the residency requirement. Some schools only require 3 months residency prior to enrolling. You can always enroll anytime as an international student but of course that would mean more money. Merry Christmas!
