if you mess up your ipod you can always fix it for instance it its frozen and wont show up on your i tunes hold the sleep buttin and the home buttin for a while untell it shuts off then let go of the sleep buttin and keep holding the home buttin untell the ipod shows up on itunes. i know alot of people already knopw this but it will help out the bigginers a bunch with there mistakes

of course the 7.5 wont recognize your ipod because your ipod is on the firmware 2.0 and 2.0 doesn't work with the itunes 7.5, put in DFU mode and shift-click restore and look for the firmware i gave you on my link... 1.1.4(FOR IPOD)

ok this is what chu going to do, restore your ipod to 2.0(for this you need itunes 7.7) then uninstall itunes 7.7 and install 7.5, then put ur ipod into dfu mode, shift-click restore and downgrade to 1.1.3 then after u downgrade to 1.1.3 do the same thing, shift-click restore and look for the firmware 1.1.4 and that's it.
