According to website Blink on Crime, "Josh Powell is a relative of Michael C Powell, who ran for the State Legislature in Washington. Josh is listed as his technical advisor and creator of his website. Calls to Mr. Powells office to determine if Josh is his brother have not been returned."
Also, Josh Powell's father Steve Powell has an alias name of Steve Chantry and has a website by that name.

I feel sorry for the family and friends but they are all very naïve and they even supported Josh at the very beginning. Josh was uncooperative and evasive to all of them and they still helped him out. Im disgusted with how naïve the family members and friends are. Josh is the only one being extremely UNCOOPERATIVE AND EVASIVE. He moved out of Utah and his wife is still missing.

@utahrob Think they were being nice 2 Josh cause they didn't know how evil he really was& thought maybe something out of "character" happened,But now we see his real character & it's full of selfishness &a need 2 totally control. Just this weekend, for 1st time N months,Josh alowed Susan's parents 2 visit the children, BUT only at a park, and only while BOTH Josh and Josh's father were present and filming the visit. Just imagine what he must have put Susan through alone in the house w/ the boys.
