kindu,these dances have been done for hundreds of thousands of years ALL OVER AFRICA, Elders in Congo will tell you that they migrated to Congo from the Nile region in upper egypt where the dances were first done..These dances are done all over afica. why do Africans in the year 2007 keep acting like they have some rite 2 certain parts of African culture,just because they come from a certain country..we all come from 1 family and just migrated outwards over the whole continent.

C'mon now, these congo musician come up with new dances every album. What dances does makossa, coupe,Kwaito etc uses. They have to have something new to incorporate their drums,animation and dancing in every new album.what other style of music has gone this far? You might want to read a Time Magazine issue to confirm this fact.Some style of music have had dancing for more than 50 years,Salsa,Makossa,etc
