First of all: thank you thank you. I've never been able to do the full Windsor by looking at

videos (not coordinated and have trouble with the mirrored image) and this time at the 3rd attempt I've a beautiful confident symmetrical knot. It was so clear compared to others instructional videos.

Secondly, boy your pretty eyes distract though, that's the only problem :)

@pacotvify They're just different types of knots. Half Windsor creates a smaller knot, while the full Windsor is a bit larger. Both are considered acceptable for the professional business environment, job interviews, etc... :)

I have a question.... I've watched both the half and full windsor knot, I can do both while watching, but half the time when I tighten it up the narrow end is longer... Any suggestions?

@gbtwest1 Easy fix to that dilemma, when you first begin, position the narrow end of your tie 1/3 or even 1/4 the length of the wide end. The starting length varies from person to person due to differences in height and torso length. But starting out with the wide end longer will result in a longer wide end at the finish. Hope that helps!
