@chsn09 FUKING NIGGER 24 A 24 IN THIS VIDEO YOUR NOT THESAME AT US AND LATINOI ARE NOT BLAK STOP PREACHING TU NO ES CUBANO NI LATIBNO MAMGUEVO MOVE GET OUTS STOP PREACHING
No offense but they need to expand the look and views and types of Cuban Americans they interview! Miami Cubans and especially white Cubans get all of the attentions! Not all of Cuba is white or looks white! Most of Cuba is mixed! But just feature Cuban American diversity!
Where else can a person float to a country on an innertube, become a citizen and then tell me where I can go. Tell me one Castro family member who has been hurt by the embargo. I took a trip to Cuba just because of the Miami Cubans.
The portrayal of young Cuban-Americans in this video is completely one-sided. There is a much greater diversity of opinion in regards to US-Cuba Policy among young Cuban-Americans than what this video reflects.
Diplomacy is inherintly dependant on the chosen diplomat. If Obama temporarily lifts the embargo, so our families in Cuba can receive aid from the US. He can take Florida and the Cuban vote. 50 years of no forward progress, it is in the intrest of the US, now that China and Venezuela want to drill for oil in Cuba and are bidding. Cheney wants in to Cuba!! The right diplomat makes all the differance, I beleive, things are changing, its in the air, why not Cuba?
Its the same thing, we have not reached any agreements in 50 years. Cubans have fallen for this same Republican status quo without true diplomacy. Why do we deal with Communist China and not with Communist Cuba? By buying all the cheap products from China we aide Cuba anyways. These Cuban Americans are swayed in part by their parents firm stance on Cuba, most of which are Republicans.
The difference between Cuba and China is that China is more capitalist so the Chinese gov't doesn't control the Chinese economy in the same way the more Communist Castro gov't controls the Cuban economy. So when you trade with Cuba the Castro gov't benefits from it more.
I understand, truly. Capitalism and Socialism are opposites. Human rights and free press are essential in a society. The US' policies on Cuba are out of greed and opportunism. Our government is leveraged to China, debt! US sees China as a billion possible consumers and cheap labor in mass, 2$/day. Cuba is isolated and off our coast and very important in Florida, voters 1M strong, mostly reps. Our position on Cuba is political, and on China economic, while turning a blind eye on human rights.
Yeah, OBAMA needs to work on his relations with Cuba and create a ground as to which pedestal to follow from! There is hope for Cuba !!!
