ciao mi sono avvicanto da poco al gaming su pc e ho scoperto che mio padre ha un vecchio pc (scheda madre asus k8vse deluxe cpu atlhon 64 3200+ 2.00ghz 2gb di ram e la sapphire radeon x1950 come scheda video) pensi che potrei iocarci a qualche gioco vecchiotto tipo quelli prima del 2006 con questa configurazione? grazie della risposta e scusaper il disturbo

On CoD4 I have only 6-35 Fps !

u have a top of the line P4, however id recommend getting a new rig soon, right now low end multi cores are equivalent to 4.0 ghz P4, im not saying ur PC is bad, its good, but an update would help trust me, i was using a 2.8 ghz P4, got a new PC, now im using a 2.2 ghz dual core which is about 4.4 ghz to a P4, it makes a sexified difference

For sure! But I'm working on a new build now that will have 3x PCI-E so I'm just going to save up. I o/c'ed my CPU to about 3.8 (stable in games) and 4.2 (stable when working) Which pretty much covers up the ground with the cheaper dual cores. I can run GTA IV, it's laggy but playable, which is amazing considering I'm still on AGP :D

Figured it out already.

In case anyone is having the same issue.

Copy the "zones" folder from the game disc directly to the COD 4 program folder @C/program files/activision/COD 4.

That's it.

This worked for me.

You had a radeon 9800 pro saphire 256mb. Don't worry! Now you have a good card and you'll see the difference! I said HD3850 because people who had HD2600 series, wouldn' t have noticed the difference buying an HD3650, because these VGAs are similar, and this isn't a good upgrade. But your upgrade is good ;-)

Yes it's true, hd 3650 is better. I said this beacause buying a 3650 for those people who had a 2600 series is not a good upgrade. Infact i suggested hd 3850 although i've an x1950pro

i think u need a faster proccesor, because then it should run faster with no glitches on low settings. 1Gb of RAM is fine, so is card, so i reckon it must be processor
