  • looks like great terrain wonder if the retarded tree huggers took it away yet? looks like pre go pro days.. funny

  • wow some amazing snowmobile trip

  • this is a gay vid ass hole

  • How did I fucking get here. At first I was watching a train almost hit a woman, then I watched a school bus get hit by a car then I watched a goat electrecuted then I watched a girl gets pranked then I pressed back then I watched a scared orangutan then I watched polar bear falling in ice then I watched some people fall in ice then THIS.. WTF?!!

    I LOVE YOUTUBE.

  • fuck time to go

  • what are they supposed to do all get covered with snow or wait it out so they can ACTUALLY get to him.

  • It is obvious that he is turning to plot a coarse up there to help the dude after the avalanche finally settled down. I can't believe there are so many retards out there that jump to conclusion so fast and start name calling lol.

  • What the fuck? You people don't need to live you leave your buddy under 20 feet of snow fighting for his life, And you fucking cowards film it. Do me a favor you pathetic excuses of life, Next time you cross a bridge stop, Get out of your car and leap over the side of the bridge.

    Assholes

  • @fishingcanada1 Well I think you might be taking it a little far there guy. I'm sure they wanted to look for there buddy, but they aren't going to drive into the avalanche now, are they? I think it makes sense to drive out of the path of the avalanche until its settled, then go look for the guy. You sounds like a real hero though with all the coward talk and pathetic excuse of life business. What yould you have done, superman?

  • i would call that a bit of snow going a few feet, not an avalanche

  • pussies

  • Did u eventually help the guy??

  • Too bad he didn't die.

  • lol 0:35 0:40 oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit... JIZZ IN MY PANTS!

  • lol i would leave him behind for sure... i mean when you are with three and theres a bear chasing you, why wouldn't you sacrifice one for the greater good???

  • @Aenigmo you're a retard

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • That's not an avalanche, that is just typical Polaris RMK ROOST!

  • There's no point in immediately going to help your friend if you're just going to get stuck as well. You need to make sure you're not buried first so you CAN dig your friend out later.

  • just like a person from cali. think you got something special, what a fag

  • Yep lets just drive aroind it and not go help the guy

  • Pussy. You shoulda stayed put and recorded the whole thing lolol

  • thats not an avalanche you nerd

  • @VSUZUKIV fake and gay. no such thing as a nerd

  • that would scare the crap outta me

  • dont tell ppl were ur secret spots are itll just make them tracked up and worthless

  • there was never any danger...

  • Anyone know what kind of sled the green and blue one is at the beginning of the video??? Wicked colours!

  • @martech360 it looks like and old skidoo summit, buy old i mean like 2000

  • check out my channel

    suscribe 2

  • tbh id have rode up an over it

its small enough it wouldnt have done much damage if you were to get caught in it and theres no trees in it which are the reson most people die.

heavy stuff goes to the bottom, including people, where they get tossed around with trees etc.

leet avalanche ride wouldve been leet

  • You're a fucking idiot. Take an avalanche course retard.

  • your life must be boring.

    live on the edge

put your balls in danger sometime.

i have taken avalanche classes, i live in alaska and do backcountry boarding/sledding every winter.

this avalanche is small shit so why not play in it.

  • @xxthumpurxx taking an avalanche course should teach you not to go looking for trouble. even if you are well prepared and know everything, the most likely way to get killed is overconfidence and putting yourself places you shouldn't be. a 2 inch slab can kill someone just as easily as a massive slide. don't encourage stupidity.

  • @xxthumpurxx you have done classes, he prob. haven't ...

  • its funny how he is trying to run away

  • it's not that bad, you've maybe not got your eyes all the way open. Now go put the kettle on and ask someone to stroke your head until you calm down.

  • chill out man, it's all good

  • @groceryman1974 its a fucking helmet cam most of them don't have sound

  • couldn't you do something to set it off so nobody is on the hill gets caught in it?

  • well then it wouldnt be natural.

  • yeah they drop dynamite from helicopters but they cant do it all the time. costs a lot of money I imagine.

  • it is kind of awesome that you guys have like three different camera views of this event. i've seen all of them but somehow in different days. after a while I've figured that they're all the same. btw nice avalanche you got there :)

  • what?

  • it wouldnt have broke loose if the track didnt lift up at :18,:19, glad u were lookin to see where ur buddy was.

  • as if you just left your buddy there...

  • where is this at?

  • Flagged for not looking for him

  • he was scanning the area to see where his buddy was and it was smart of him to not just pin the sled to the area where the avalanche was cause he coulda started another one burying his friend even more idiot

  • @MonsterEnergy756 Same thing i did that too

  • now here's a vid that shows how not to react to your bud goin down in an avie!!!

  • now heres an example of how almost all avalanches happen on hills you least expect would slide

  • look for the rider!

  • No kidding! You gotta watch for the last point before burial.

  • thats only a small avalanche too. that would still scare the shit out of me. ya never know if its going to stop or not.

  • wow thats crazy

  • I want a helmet cam now. And some snow too... USA

  • That was so stupid from the rider. Once you operate in such a terrain get some basic infos about the danger or what not to do in terms avoiding simillar accidents!!

  • he diddent ride under shit he was trying to get to the top !!

  • what happend to thr rider?

  • Stupid is as stupid does

  • Kinda small Avalanche but still would be scary

  • I don't know how much those things weigh...used to be alot more than today...

they sure feel like alot more than 450lbs when theyre on top of you!

  • jonazz that is not a 2000lb machine.

why the FUCK did he ride right below it that is ridiculous.

  • damn he paniced

  • Thats sick dude

  • stupid

  • umm just one question is that guy okay who was in the video? yeah why would he take the line you are cutting a huge chunk out of the snow when you take a line like that. and he should have check the conditiond of the snow to do that.

  • That's tits riding, but that guy is an IDIOT. Wanna know why I say that? He went completely HORIZONTAL against a CORNICED BOWL with a 2000lb MACHINE!

Anybody who knows anything about avalanches and backcountry KNOWS you're never supposed to do that. It's like taking a big chunk out of a dam and expecting it NOT to explode.

    Props for fuckin shredding though!

  • more like 450lb machine

  • y u ladies hatin on these people thats intense i wish i oculd go do that every day

  • avalanches are sooo dangerous!!

  • looks like your missing your friend, that you forgot to go look for?

  • Your such a waste of skin. I never had much respect for you granola munchin tree huggin useless waste of taxpayers money before, but you really show just how rediculous some of you lowlifes are. I would never wish something like that on anyone. Take your mutt, your granola and your petula stench and quit sponging off of society. Loser

  • fuck you

  • dude nice dis mitch!

    thats so original!

  • thanks seth!!!! fuck you too!!!

  • your dumb????? drive away from the fuckin snow coming at you???? moron?

  • in norway, it's illegal to go more than 300 meters out of the track. have you ever seen damage on vegetation caused by compressed snow?

  • no because it doesn't happen hahaha idiot a person walking exerts an average of 5 pounds per square inch of pressure. a snowmobile is about .5 plus the snow further dissipates that number. damb some people are stupid.

  • That was my point, i have been run over by a snowmobile, and it didn't hurt at all

  • i hate norway...its the most boring country in the whole world!

You(im more talking about the older people) are the cheapest fucks that are alive!

I was working in some town there and was going to get me sum beer but no, the bar closed at 6'o clock cause no one went there after dinner!!!

But i like your skiing places and you have sum fun mountains!

  • ahaha xD

  • uhm.. might be an idea to check out other cities..

  • Norway is nice place but I agree that Your feeling! I live in the village where even is not restaurant or bar where You can buy a beer!! Sometimes I really miss Finland!!

Well in the next vilage there is a restaurant and I went there 2000 o clock. I was alone till 2400 when people starts to come in. Bar culture in here is really poor. But You can imagine that when one beer costs like 4€ (5$) in shop and almost 10 in the bar!

  • well... i live in norway, its a peace full counrty, less murders than most of the countries in the world. at the moment we have alot of people coming from the middle east to live here and they take with them sicknesses and their fucking crazy religion and start murdering people, importing guns (which is illegal in nroway...) and selling/importing/making drugs...

  • well go up and fucking help him you idoits

  • to bad U got away

  • GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYyy

  • where was this...in Tahoe?

  • I could tell ya but I'd have to kill ya

  • lol

  • no really, where is it?

  • @jmukavit Tell ya this! You never reacted, you seemed to want to save your own ass you 'n your buddy instead of going for him immideatly.. thats pathetic!

  • dude dont circle back get the hell out of dodge point the down hill and as the old saying goes " whistle wide and throttle back " bassicaly haul ass

  • what avelanch there was nothing come on alredy

  • little ones can become big ones reallly quick

  • Yeah, those little ones turn into killers fast.

  • yeah they can turn MASSIVE! pretty scary!

  • good riding;)

  • the comments on this are f'n hilarious. Bros, really c'mon you gotta spell better and use some proper grammar. You need to stop suckin on the bong long enough to learn to read. Terrible.

  • I have to say, that for all of you people talking with big mouths, you have a lot of problems spelling simple words... if you can't even spell, I would be extremely hesitant to trust any of your backcountry knowledge as far as snowpack and stability is concerned.

  • dnt gimme dat u dnt knw th diff bt depth whore and srastoogi ftw

  • find youre friend! never leave some one behind!

  • the guy who was in the slide is in plain sight he was never buried. also the rider with the camera has to get himself to safety b4 he can save his frend.

  • "take a little risk you pussy" what is that shit? wind packed face, that shit slides so easy. Some of you sled guys talk all kinds of shit but once you've been buried hopefully you'll keep your shut.

  • kool friends running away.. i woulda drove straight in that motherfucker just a lil one anyway

  • Nataraja13you think ur like an avalanche expert? my question to you is how does he examine the snow with out going to the place he wants to climb? your dumb and shouldnt open your mouth you have know clue what back country riding is about

  • Drive the sled to the bottom of the steep pitch. Get off the machine and hike to a safe spot on the steep slope to dig a snow pit.

The slope is much less likely to slide with the weight of a hiker collapsing a weak layer than it is with a big heavy sled on it.

The slope is most likely to slide on a convex roll near the top of a ridge.

I'm not an expert but I know a bit.

  • I agree...

  • Looks like a pretty big slide to me!!

    How did the sledder do?

  • lol nice they tuke off i wude of went in it

  • That was pretty sweet. Everyone who is saying that he deserved it, obviously has never ridden a snow machine in deep powder, let alone their backyards!! lol

  • He was basically poking a stick in the eye of nature and got what he asked for.

  • You still runnin your mouth on snowmobile vids ...poking a stick in the eye of nature lol you nutjob let me guess you live in the city

  • I've live in the mountains all my life. I've taken several Avalanche Training Courses and I work in the Industry.

Before heading into steep, avalanche-prone terrain with an extremely unstable snowpack, the group should be equipped with the proper training and equipment needed in the event of an avalanche.

The guy in the vid had avy-gear but should have tested the snow stability before climbing the highly exposed cornice ridge.

  • Still a shity attitude "got what he asked for" ..bet you walk with ski poles when you hike lol...ill watch for you on discovery channel...notice i didnt stoop to saying Blow me

  • nataraja u fuckin cumsucker....take a lil risk u pussy

  • lol if that was bigger well then...Good thing ur friend would of saved the sled!lol

  • thats not an avalanche, thats sluff, get it right

  • lol

  • LOL I would of turned around and climbed it!!

  • ya right.....

  • ...I would have tryed anyway not shur if I would make it or not thow!

  • hah that made me laugh. i've inhaled bigger snowballs

  • tht is weak

  • uhh yea i live in alaska and that is weak it proboly wouldnt even knock a snow machine over lol

  • Yeah, you aren't going to have problems from an 8 inch avalanche.

  • LOL true!!

  • Yeah, it's probly only a couple tonnes of snow there... no problem, right?

  • Unless you manage to get all of the snow and pile it on top of yourself... nope.

  • thats pretty weak

  • you're weak

  • lol great comeback, made me laugh.
