  • as always ... simply amazing. she is not from earth people so please stop comparing her to lesser mortals.

  • what sort of panties are fascist panties?

  • КАК она хуярит на рояле!

  • Tori is a savant on the piano. And she doesn't sing her songs, she's channeling something...

  • I think her soul is living in Barbados

  • Great live performance...

  • Yep, shivered. Awesome.

  • I love her passion. Gay or straight, it's powerful. My fingers want some of that piano!

  • @gattacca94 gay or straight? why say that wtf

  • @gattacca94

She's straight enough (married, with a daughter), though not biased against same-sex folks - she's just particularly driven & passionate - maybe some extra testosterone in her mix, but it doesn't lead her to play for the home team so to speak - I myself like women artists to be passionately womanly, not delicately girly, so I appreciate Tori too - passion is what it is, some of my favorite people are gay women, for their particular strength of spirit - anyway, cheers

  • @zoned247 Actually, I am a musician, but I play guitar and not piano. But good job on the conclusion jumping there. I wondered because if I remember correctly, the general idea of pianist's hands is that they have long and slender fingers. And yes, I know that that is not true for everyone.

  • I always wonder at how ungracefull and clumpy her hands look compared to the rest of her.

  • I hold 110 percent respect toward Tori, she has faced in depth darkness but stood tall and her music defines that as well as the stare on her face! She is one of the top female vocalists in the world as well as a top class musician!

  • By far one of the best songs of all time.

  • Ah music that's on Earth. She Loves 2 sing like a continuous ORGASM.Please come back 2 Santa Barbara, and you have My word Lovely Tori I will bring You a Bouquet of Lovely Roses Alive with Cuddly Love Sincerely Peter.I first saw You Play their Gorgeous Lovely Tori,I mean Santa Barbara, than Los Angeles.

  • Tori is such a beauty!!! I'd hear her songs after a bad day like as if she were a therapist. Her music is fuckin' awesome!

  • i love her fucking fangs dammit!! :DDDD and her eyes too

  • This was my anthem in high school.

  • Oh my god...you never hear live music like this. She is a rare gem.

  • In a way she should thank all the suffering she went through. Perhaps it made her the artist she is. (Not saying pain is a good thing).

  • haunting...................

  • I love how she sings the bridge of the song in this perfect, beautiful and totally misleading head voice, and at 3:57-4:12 she totally lets herself loose. I legit got goosebumps there. :D

  • She must be a brilliant pianist!!!!

  • i miss her so much she vis awsome

  • does she compused this song?

  • I saw her 20 years ago in Portland Maine, her music and her mind is incredible.

  • @ToonTweek why you say her mind is indredible, is she an inteligent women? talk me more about her...

  • 16 people are Justin Beiber Amy Winehouse and that crypto Jewess Gaga fans.

  • Tori Amos is the 8th wonder of the world.

  • This is somewhat creepy and apealing.......

    I LOVE IT

  • Rabbit in the Moon - Out of Body Experience

    /watch?v=nYUpli3ZADc

This is the song you want to hear

  • @hccaldwe I am such an electronic music snob and when I heard this song this week on So You Think You Can Dance I was like "What the hell that's Rabbit in the Moon!!". Seen them twice and still listen from time to time. Good to see I wasn't the only one who thought the same thing...

  • i love creepy music and this one definatly does it

  • If you don't know the definition of 'art', look up Tori Amos.

  • Absolutely georgeous and powerful.

  • Wow...it's one of those rare performances that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up....amazing!

  • Comment removed

  • It makes me cry and get goosebumps at the same time...........

  • Goddess.

  • She's from the planet I wished I lived on....

  • THIS WOMAN IS FROM ANOTHER PLANET.

  • @cpreciouscoin , you are so right. Most vocalists couldn't dream of delivering a vocal so haunting and complex. Along with Joni Mitchell, Tori is one of the most important female singer-songwriters ever.... that is, if you believe in true emotion sung from heart-felt experience.

Credit the whole band too, for this amazing performance... what a drummer !

Who is that guy ?! Anyone ?

  • @zoned247 6:05 the credits show Tori's Band---Matt Chamberlain and Jon Evans, dunno which is which tho...

  • @cooterman1970 thanks for that man. Matt Chambelain is the drummer. All three of them are so cool together. Amazing !

  • she is beautiful. her music makes me feel.

  • @ Hollowmario> Dude ! you are absolutely spot on !

  • Tori, why are you so PRETTY in this video?!?!?

    Amazing song, brilliant performance!!

  • few humans can have so many little girls inside herself without being crazy. datura is her garden! she is in touch with so many beautiful otherwordly topics its unchanged over her whole career. hearing her talk makes you feel like your talking or hearing a goddess. my opinon is she is a true og and i love her so much. she plays 2 instruments at once, she is amazing.

  • @wingseclipsed: the drummer is Matt "The Human Loop" Chamberlain. The bassist is Jon Evans. Both have been touring with Tori dating back to 1998. According to Wikipedia, Matt has also toured or worked with with Edie Brickell, Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, and many others.

  • I think the reason that she is off the map is because of what she writes. She is not superficial shes on a so much deeper level that many cannot or will not take the time to understand why she writes. For someone to belittle an artist such as her boggles my mind for they have such negativity and have nothing better to do. You dont like her music then fine, dont berate Tori, she has done nothing to wrong you. She is singing from her soul touching thoes who are spiritually connected or otherwise.

  • Who is the drummer?

  • @dangerbro1 K get your daughter a recording contract and talk shit. Kthxbai. She feel off the map because she became a hardcore heroine addict. But once your daughter gets a recording contract you can make that claim. Otherwise shut your mouth and show some respect. Your daughter fails and your just a judgmental prick who can't understand much of anything.

  • @chrisgriffin22 YOU really, truly are making that up about the heroin. Show me some proof. LOL!! Not true. Really!! I would go as far as betting she's never touched heroin! Man thats really bad to just make up something & put it out there on the internet as if it were truth!

  • @YaelleG Actually someone else told me that whose a hardcore Tori Amos fan. Will admit when she does interviews she talks like shes on something..

  • @dangerbro1 wow someones bitter.

  • This rendition of the song is nothing short of otherworldly amazingness. I listen to it all the time,-

  • She really digs deep into her soul, I love it. That ethereal cry of hers, it's like touching God.

  • Tori is the best forever. No other artist come near her brilliance.

  • I had the honor to see her in concert and her performance of this song was AMAZING!

  • I love this live version even more than the original :) it's a masterpiece.

  • this is off of "still orbiting". so. so so. sad. tori is a therapy to all abused women. she has saved me many times. i don't feel so alone when i hear her sing.

  • @superherogirl2 You are exactly right. She somehow understands the tortured feminine soul of an abused woman. The only other artist I have found who could do that is Fiona Apple. She was also raped. It's like something shifts severely in a woman after experiences like that. You are never the same and everything is filtered through a much more profound, complex, dark lens. Tori gets this.

  • @jrockfor : Yes Tori does 'get' this & so did you! so beautifully articulated!

  • @jrockfor In other words, she's a complete and total badass. She's easily my favorite female vocalist, as well as in my top 5 vocalists (which would include her best friend Maynard Keenan as my absolute favorite)

  • My friend who was killed in car accident introduce me to Tori Amos. We are from KY but I was living in Florida @ the time. when I just came home to visit family for a couple of days and friend came to my parents house & told me the news. I was able to attend her wake & that's all which killed me. When I learned Tori had a concert scheduled in Florida. I took my ass by myself & cried in remembrance of my friend. '98

  • omg her voice... this woman is deeply wonderful..

  • Sooo Amazing!!! I've loved her since elementary school and she STILL makes me freak out from the sheer genius of her performances!!!

  • oh dammit she's like....so pretty and sweet, nice, beatiful, and her voice is great and she plays the piano so awesome xD haha i love her

  • Tori is perfect. That's al there is to it. Period..

  • There's this kind of madness in her eyes...

The kind that makes your thrill and shiver as she seems to glance straight to your deepest thoughts.

    I just lost my breath...

  • @hollowmario Amazing reply.

  • @hollowmario - yep, so true, which what made me fall inlove with the music!! :)

  • @hollowmario Someone died. A musician died at the hands of someone who seems to want to collect copyrights. What better way to meet them...then to go on the telly with new songs? Anger seems to be most appropriate. Grade 7? 1958...the year that Lynne Harper was said to be murdered. Hmmm?

  • @iriswigle ...Wait... What are you talking about exactly?

  • @iriswigle I searched that case on wiki and I don't understand the relationship between this and Tori Amos.

  • i wanna know who was the lucky girl who got the kiss. Tori is and always will be amazing!!

  • kj

  • she's a genious

  • this girl kicks asss..most of the time i listen to metal but she is the shT###

  • i like playing this song when im feeling down. helps a lot.

  • We must haves the precious.

  • No one does "live music" like Tori!

  • its a song of lost inocense - when we realise we are lost in the world and no matter what we cant get back to the beginning when we felt safe. I f I am wrong with my interpretation let me know.

  • Saw Tori play for the first time in a music festival i Sweden 2005. I blissfully started crying of happiness when she stroke the first tone and then kept weeping htat way allt the way to the very last one. Magical :) Best exoerience of MY life so far!

  • Σε λατρευω!!!!!!

  • Amazing!!!

  • Her "aaah" at 0:11 is so sweet :D awesome song btw!

  • @Feal9123

  • adorable and down to earth too

  • Superb,sublime talent!!!

  • her songs really make me travel, she created her own dreamy world

  • Tori is just plain awesome ,, her voice gives me chills allways.I have gotten to see her twice in concert. There is so much out of print and singles available in obscure places.I have a "Star Profile" of hers, unauthorized, but an excellet insight into her music and soul.Itis an audio documentary cd, and 2 small books.

  • moves me to tears. for i have these memories. - I remember Yes in my peach party dress No one dared No one cared To tell me where the pretty girls are Those demigods With their nine-inch nails And little fascist panties Tucked inside the heart Of ever nice girl These precious things Let them bleed Let them wash away These precious things Let them break Let them wash away -
  • The 10 second wail of "girl" at 4:02 in this performance sends shivers down my spine. Fantastic!

  • Tori can put on a great show. I also love the size of the venue. Makes for a more intimate setting when you can be that close to her while she performs.

  • This is my right fist.

  • Wonderful version of one of her best song! The piano's sound is so disturbing... I wanted to be there. Sigh!

  • I would love an explanation of her lyrics. I make my own assumptions and can hear the pain in her voice. I've felt that pain, and now I feel that pain. Has anyone ever heard the true stories? So talented and its sad that alot of musicians go through such terrible times to make such great music....its a muse

  • that deep gaze at 3.45 makes me melt

  • This song could move giants.

  • Une vraie déesse !!!!

  • I really dig that drum sound. A perfect match to the song.

  • I have never heard a woman musician to touch me so deeply. The energy she is giving off made me pant for breath. Extraordinary woman!!! And mighty song too!

  • @mmyylleenn You might want to listen to Skin from Skunk Anansie. The broadest range from fragile breathe to screaming power I have ever heard.

  • @KackeEgal

Yes, I like "Secretly" "You'll follow me down" "Carmen Queasy"

  • Это самое лучшее живое исполнение Tori Amos, которое я слышала. Восхитительно. И потрясающе реально, правдиво и сильно.

    Merci.

  • When she looks into the camera, I know she is really looking at me, not you or you and definitely not you over there. She's looking at me. So stay away from her. She's mine you crazy delusional freak. By the way, drums need more cowbell.

  • let them bleed, let them bleed know..

  • Talent. Pure talent. In 100 years, nobody will care about Ke$ha...

  • @chuckn52

In 100 years?? Nope, in two or so.

  • A precious thing!

  • her existence in this world is a great gift to all humantity

  • God! This woman is entirely.....well...she's rose above....left the ground....only to come back down and take us with her.....and you know what? I say yes everytime! I have followed Tori for many years..since i was 13..she will always be with me...and I listen...that my friend is when words are most effective...Just Listen and you will know. Thankyou Tori for all that you have created in this world and from your world! Janelle

  • Only Tori Amos can keep the best song till the last and sing it with full power and emotion. A trained professional who knows the meaning of the song. Beautiful and sad.

  • Who's that drummer? Anyone?

  • @KackeEgal The drummer is Matt Chamberlain. Check his work on WIKI.

  • 3:50 ...thumbs up, for goosebumps. <3

  • Pathos

  • Thanks for being cool about it!

  • Sorry, your right though. I like it even more now!

  • "So you can make me cum, does that make you Jesus?"

  • @NinaJoeGerrish that doesn't make you jesus. sorry but that line is worth correcting someone.

  • @mrcreosote44 Reformulate that into English so we can at least understand your complaint and then ridicule it. Enjoy the song as it is. This is high art.

  • @ScaredPiglet what ass? the person i was talking to got it. and was ok with it. wasnt even a complaint...

  • I regard Tori as the female, piano playing version of Tool, she is amazing, talented, unique and real, this song is breathtaking, my favourite genre is heavy metal, some of my favourite bands are Pantera, Death and Fear Factory, but as a lover of music, I cannot deny that Tori Amos is one of the most real and unique artists of all time, simply amazing.

  • best f****ng live version I have seen of this song. Oh my god she is beyond bueatiful and there are no words to describe her talent

  • Made me cry. Culture has gone from empathetic to apathetic. ! ??

  • let them wash away....

  • @10blood ????????? huge mistake you just made.

  • @10blood LOLOLOLOL

Your comparing one of the most unique, talented and real artists ever to that generic, gimmick whoring, up herself, talentless tramp?

Lol, you sir, have no idea what music is.

  • @MOTOPSYCHO89 You must be deaf to music. Go sit in the corner and listen to Nsyinc. We all know you love that faggot "boy band" haha

  • @legitimatemind With a response like that, you should change your name to "legitimateretard".

  • @MOTOPSYCHO89 Hahaha you do like Nstink huh? LOL XD

  • @MOTOPSYCHO89 Looks like you love boy bands. Any further messages from you will just be ignored.

  • She has overcome so much. And she is a very talented artist. Amazing voice!

  • She is such an incredible writer, I hope to be just as good as her one day.

  • I have recently discovered tori I like her very much I listen to regina spektor alot and these two get many comparisons and I can see why they are both amazing!

  • I love this version!!! Nothing short of amazing!!! I love Tori

  • those who put dislike is because they liked so much that the only thing they can express is denial...

  • I love this song ! <3 i can relate to hit very well lol

  • I forgot how much i loved this girl, beautiful voice!

  • I hit that

  • This woman is my hero!!! She keeps me singing!!

  • @MidnightNeverCome True, I know many of her live perfomances sound slightly different from the recorded tracks, but still - if you like Tori, you like Tori period. She is incredible - the way she changes to suit each song like a true actress and perfomer - wow!! I actually don't have any words for her talent

  • I'd never be able to see Tori Amos live. It's just too much awe, and if by some chance I caught that smoldering gaze I'd just die.

  • How can u not like this??? 9 idiots on YouTube already!

  • @kaydebaby 9 vs. 471. We can take them. :D

  • When she admits in the beginning of this clip, "This song, this song... was the most requested song... ahhhhhh." She makes me sooo in tune with how down to Earth our Tori is. Then she goes on to hit those high notes that makes one think, "Tori, there 'should be' no down to Earth here!!! Honest, strong messages set to an incredible voice." Surreal.

  • This version actually sounds more intriguing than the cd version!

  • I love how she his these high notes. Incredible, such an emotional message and she does it with calamity. Rare. Only our Tori.

  • @csantana76able YES! I think so, too!

  • Comment removed

  • Tori with voice of an Angel, just so truly talented.

  • Giiiiiiirrrrrl, oh that's so amazing<3

  • @DeadSea000 were you speaking to me?i am older then you and have seen her twice so i can say as i please?fuck you

  • Incrível ela, Tori te amoo

  • Her earlier performances of this song are more raw, this is good but I like her better alone at the piano without all the busy in the background.

  • Hi first of all i must exuse my bad english ,im from germany so(...)

Tori amos is the most perfect person i ever heard-her voice is so clear and beautivull and her texts are very funny or better say beautivull too

....iin germany she´s quite faamous but not enought that she ll come her one time i think^^

  • She's been to germany many times...

  • @MrJohnDorion she was in vienna two years ago. i became a really big fan that night. no youtube video can show you how exact and crystal clear her voice is. i hope you are able to attend one of her shows one day. blew me away.

  • @MrJohnDorion

she was often here. for example europetour in 2009.

  • @MrJohnDorion OMG she is amazing. I have seen her perform here in florida several times and let me tell you, she sends chills all over your body. She is so profound and deep. I remember being 13, I discovered her in 1993 when Little earthquakes came out and she still rules my radio, ipod, youtube, any musical device. If you like tori amos. I recomend Bjork and Pj Harvey too!! I hope you enjoy these beautiful voices.

  • What a cool expression when shes singing about them as demigods. She turns a little evil for a moment.

  • who's the bass player?

  • @kitchenmachine Jon Evans is the bass player and matt chamberlain is on drums. :)

  • every performance she does of this song is always superb, transcendental!

  • damn, tori is great, her band is the shit!!

  • I have seen her every tour. youtube, live, cd its all amazing!!!
