@SWO4LIFE at the start of the 4th level push button 1+2 to do a jumping reverse kick at least 20 times before you move on and you will get infinite lives.

hey you can performe a glitch here at 2:34 where the 2 Bow's come out, just walk slowly at the walls where they come out of the walls without having to let them come out by not walking too far, then punch the walls and they die!!! true trick!

Yeah, Nintendo games always had their own fruity twists. On the Nintendo cover art is that supposed to be willian holding the knife or is that jimmy? I always assumed it was Jimmy but William has long hair a red vest and usually has a knife.

They did that because the NES version was just a solo venture of Billy, with Jimmy being a villain to mask that inability to have 2 simultaneous players. The Master System game, on the other hand, can be played with both Billy and Jimmy simultaneously, and therefore doesn't need at all that retweaking of the plot.

This was one of the best games the SMS had. The NES version was ok, but this one resembles the Arcade version much better.

My Case is Rested Again I told ya so SMS Version is better, and I never Played it...unlik NES you already had Moves at your Disposal, and Weapons can Carry over to the next Fight, and it is Two-Players. Yippee!! i wish I had A SMS I played it at A Neighbor's House, and liked it.

I played and loved this game when I was little and when I got older I sorta forgot that my memories were from the master system version. So over the last few years, running into Double Dragon would always leave me thinking what the hell... I don't remember this stage (like the purple caves in the nes) or the characters looking like they did in the arcade even tho the layout is almost the same. Woooo this one is probably the best, but its a biased opinion.

I played this game with my neighbour in the Master System 20 years ago!!! and we could never defeat the boss on 6:50. I may get the emulator to beat him!!!

That's because the NES version lacked the 2-player co-op mode. Player 2 had to wait his turn. Sega's the one.

I know ur using a cheat so u cant get hit or something...theres no way u can beat this game without getting hit. If u look at the video for the last mission and stop the video at 2:16-2:17 u can see that u should have been smoked by that sliding brick but u get hit by it and it like disappears....somethings fishy!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember the infinite lives cheat at the last board if when the board first starts u do like 21 of the those spinning round house kicks and u never die...LOL

talbot what emu are you using? ad you used FM sound on this one? i ask becouse i played a little further in Miracle Warriors with fm sounf and it has slowdowns.

I use Pastorama, Fusion and Dega. I use Dega a lot cause it lets me record in segments so I don't have to beat the game in one sitting. Never had any slowdowns when FM sound is enabled on any of those emus.

I played this game heeps when I was a kid. It's a cool game. Its a little diferant from the nes vershion but I still love it.
