so true,this was a reason to plug in the headphones i a genesis 1.i love how the instruments are balanced out almost to good,i also like the stereo effect of the genesis when it''s phasing sounds from left to right etc.

I remember reading about this game in an old magazine (game players sega strategy guide I believe). This game would work well with a dual stick setup (dual shock controller for example).

I used to own and bought the cart back when the game first came out. Took a while for me to warm up to liking this game. Then it became my classic.

It always reminded me of a CONTRA rip-off, but I still loved it.

@28steryan  In the arcades, it was more than that. It had rotating joysticks similar to the ones in SNK's Ikari Warriors and Touch Down Fever arcades, for rotating the firearms. When I played Contra at a young age, I had a hard time pointing the firearms diagonally.
