@CartoonZack family guy's early episodes weren't so bad.. first and second season were pretty genius with cleverly placed random jokes and elaborate animation but nowadays they suck.. they rely too much on the random jokes and the animation deteriorated SO MUCH! the characters are barely moving just their mouths.. and the writing is just terrible.. the simpsons deteriorated as well but not as badly as family guy

no. it got canceled in 01. the channel was unheard of, so it got low ratings

it was on canadian animation channel TELETOON .... so I think it was just folks who didnt like the show.... teletoon gets LARGE viewing ratings among the child demograpic in canada.
