If this was which i believe it was between 2004 and 2006 then she was vocally spent. She did 10 tours and toured for 2 years straight and performed everywhere. She did the olympics, grammy's brits and a few thousand other shows. She had walking pneumonia twice. Her voice is fine, just listen to cry on AIEW.

her voice isn't going anywhere, she is getting more mature, and thats all that is. She sounds amazing.

i'm really scared kelly is going the same way mariah did. Did anybody notice the older she gets the worse her vocal quality, and the hoarser she sounds? I really love her, so i'm scared this is what's happening to her.On the other hand, she may be once of these people with very fragile chords, which might mean that no proper rest cause her vocal chords to be very strained.

Her voice seemed to be getting huskier between this point and My December, but nowadays she sounds as good as ever. Her voice has always been a little raspy.

what i think they mean is she's not really using her voice as much as she used to, she used to belt out tons of high notes whereas she dos'nt anymore and she's taking some of the songs down one or two scales

I agree. I think kelly has a sensible head on her shoulders but there is always a risk of her losing her voice. She usually sings a couple of keys lower to save her voice but it must be hard on her to hit them high notes all the time.

I were in Cologne (Germany) on her My December Tour... It was so damn fucking awesome...
