  • I workout on an empty stomach and eat like a mofo afterwards - that's the new shit! Fuck size its all about strength power and definition!

  • The only people that need more than 45 mins at the gym are those that do like 20 sets of one exercise for like 2 reps a set! Then walk around and chat for about 10 minutes before hitting the next set. Mostly bicep heroes, who only ever work chest and bi's walkin round on spindly ass legs.

  • I think there needs to be a distinction here; the assertions of a smart geeky guy, or even a Biology PhD or Physician does not constitute 'science'. Studies published in peer reviewed scientific journals however, should have more influence on the crafting of an individual's diet and exercise regimen than 'broscience'.

  • They did made a nice point regarding supplements, but i believe if you're having a hard time gaining weight, you can get a good weightgainer to help you getting the calories needed to gain muscle.

How would these guys know about protein or creatine if it wasnt for the guys in the lab? How would these guys know about the cortisol raise after 40-60 min into a workout. Its about a mix of experience and knowledge. You would be foolish to throw one out and keep the other.

  • Hey guys, just wanted to chime in that you guys have gained more muscle then you give yourselves credit. Here is the math I did for Keith (the smaller twin). Its just a estimation I think is pretty accurate:

    start: 190 @ 20% bf (I am being generous with the bf)...leaves you with 152 lbs lean mass

    end: 220 @ 12 % bf (I am guessing you guys aren't ripped, so 12% sound about right)....leaves you with 193 lbs lean mass.

    You guys gained OVER 40 LBS OF LEAN MUSCLE. and lost 11 lbs of fat. Thumbsup

    everyone i kno personally, myself included, thats had at least 3+ years lifting experience, only takes protein, creatine, preworkout lol. some take bcaas (not me tho). the rest is all diet. just like they fuckin say. same with their advice on compound movements. its all fuckin good fellas.

  • @COReYY101096 Possibly, but dont worry about it. If your diet sucks, fix it up and maybe use whey protien. As you get more advanced, add in creatine/pre workout. All you need to worry about now is putting in the work.
