oh, man. beautiful video. your dad had a wonderful smile - both before and after this awful disease. i'm very sorry for your loss. i'm very sorry your dad had to suffer the effects of ALS. although i'm sure he's missed more than I can imagine, you're lucky to have had a caring, beautiful father. my condolences, for what they're worth.
We need your help to STOP ALS. Not raising awareness & funding ALS will not receive the research necessary to find a cure. It will continue to strike down every person.

You guys are so beautiful. I am just crying my eyes out and thinking of my mom who is still fighting and all the others. Its hard, with not much help. But thank God we have Him who gives us strength and hope. God bless you and beautiful video, I would of liked to have known your Dad.
@d1mon12 But we'll see everyone in heaven. We'll setup a tent in the new Jerusalem called VICTORY over ALS and we can all meet there and rejoice in the Lord Most High.
I lost my beautiful mom to this awful disease in August 2011, she never gave up hope, such and awful horrible disease. Once you see someone go through this, you are never the same.
My Dad currently had Lougehrig's and it's so hard. I try to limit myself to 5 minutes of crying each day. I love him, and I won't be able to live without him when he's gone.
I'm so Sorry, I lost my dad to Lou Gehrigs, In our Family it's hereditary..I have lost Two Uncles and a Aunt to this Terrible Disease. I know how you feel...Hang in there ..There is God, use him to comfort you....
oh my... you picked such beautiful piece of pianomusic for this touching portret...
I've played your film several times.. the love for your fathers shines from it...
I'm a LG (ALS) patient myself, since januar of this year.. . life is pretty much the same, as I'm still quite fit. My hands and my speech are getting worse.. but I can still cope with most things. But ofcourse, life has changed dramatically since that day in januar.. Our kids are 3, 7 and 8!..
I was really touched by your video. Your dad seems like a wonderful guy and I hope you and your family can get some consolation out of your memories. It is also admirable how you've had the courage to let your testimony convince others of the importance of further research. You, your dad and your family are in my mind, good courage and good luck!
I hope they some day find a cure. My uncle had this disease for 6 years. He passed away on Feb. 6, 2011. My family was so close to him and I think about him everyday!
