5:28 just reminded me how great the writers were. Because the whole premise of the episode titled, "Millenium" is that the world could possibly end when New Years Day 2000 hit. So when it didn't, they kissed, and Mulder says, "The world didn't end." (Which we first take as a reference to the episode's story...) Then Scully smiles and say, "No it didn't." (As if to say, that's what she thought would happen if they ever kissed. But it didn't. Not as big of a deal as it could have been.) Oh XF.
