Gears isn't fun, the cover system is definetly not new, and the game is just a run of the mill cover shooter. All it is is just a bunch of guys on 'roids shooting each other behind cover and at times running forward to cut some guy in half.

please dont try to compare gears and halo. complete dif games. gears goes by a round system for slayer, while halo gives u a kill count with respawns with teammates. complete different strategies,gameplay, character movement, and pov. both great games, and both on the mlg pro circuit for a reason

Actually, yes gameplay. This game is 300 times better than Halo 3. Behold: Player movement:

See that? It's called gameplay, and it's much better than Halo 3's. The only dull thing is that it's no fun on local & no vehicles, but the upside to that is that there can be no vehicle noobs. Also, in GoW 2, shield you can carry.
