  • The question regarding interrcession is contradictory in the Quran. Kindly see my blog on Intercession in the Quran at bilalenverkureshi.blogspot.com

  • THE MOMENT ONE FEELS HE IS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF HIS KNOWLEDGE, RELIGIOUS BELIEF AND PRACTICES, OR ANY OTHER EXPERIENCE THEN HE IS REALLY THINKING TOO MUCH OF HIMSELF AND JUDGING HIMSELF TO BE ABOVE OTHER FELLOW MEN, THAT DISTANCES HIM FROM HIS CREATOR. TRUE SUFISM IS A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WHICH MAY BE SHARED WITH FELLOW MEN FOR THEIR BENEFIT BUT NOT BY GLORIFYING ONESELF, BUT BY REMINING HUMBLE.

  • TRUE SUFIS DO NOT NEED TO DRESS LIKE A CLERIC OR WEAR SPECIAL HEADGEARS AND ROBES TO DISTINGUISH THEMSELVES. THEY CAN BE RECOGNIZED EVEN IN WESTERN DRESSES. THEY SHUN THOSE WHO BOW TO THEM OR KISS THEIR HANDS IN REVERANCE, FOR THEY WALK WITH GREAT HUMILITY AND ARE MODEST.

  • NOTHING EXISTS OUTSIDE GOD THUS WE ARE ALL COLLECTIVELY HIM AND HE IS THE WHOLE OF WHICH ALL CREATION ARE THE PARTS. THE WHOLE ENCOMPASSES THE PARTS BUT THE PARTS CANNOT ENCOMPASS THE WHOLE. WE CONNECT WITH GOD BY CONNECTING TO OURSELVES, IN OUR MINDS, AND NOT THROUGH CHANTS OR RITUALS.

  • A TRUE SUFI IS BEYOND JUST BEING A DEVOUT BELIEVER IN ANY RELIGION. HE EMBRACES ALL RELIGIONS THAT BELIEVE IN THE ONE CREATOR. HE EMBRACES ALL OF HUMANITY WITHOUT ANY DISCRIMINATION. HE IS ONE WITH ALL. JESUS WAS A TRUE SUFI. A TRUE SUFI DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A CLERIC. ALL HE NEEDS IS THE WISDOM AND THE INNER-EYE TO SEE THE TRUTH AND TO FEEL THE PRESENCE AND BE PART OF THE ENTIRE CREATION AS ONE BODY.

  • QURAN is foundation to seek of the true love, without quran man who talk in the video can''t talk like that.

  • The Prophet (SAW) said: ‘Whoever performs such a deed, for which I have not given any order, that deed is rejected and cursed.’ (Sahih Muslim, vol 2, p77/ Abu Dawood, vol 2, p287)

The Prophet (SAW) said: ‘My intercession will be available for my entire Ummah, except those who are innovators.’ (Al Badu wal Naha-Anha, p36)

  • A sufi must start from learning Process and learning Shariyah and its extent in knowing GOD the one and only is Tareeqa (sufism).Hazrat Imam Maalik (one among 4 imams of sunni fiqah) mentioned in one of his Great books of Hadiths that those who want to know the True God they must follow Shariya and when they accpeted by their full good deeds then on the way the reach to the mouth of fountain and the mouth of fountain is Tareeqa actually these both are combined who/r do 1 and left 2nd will lost

  • Thanks for uploading this beautiful speech.Love is really a God but we go after satan for short time materalistic love of metals.i also belongs to the Sufi order of Qadriyah.and when i join and got a little knowing of myself like a drop in ocean i am shocked and my lips automatically stop asking questions and i only know one thing now Love on a true and Right way which is nothing but Shariya'the law of Islam (this is not saying bcz i am muslim but bcz of drop which i got).Sufism is the pure way

  • Is this not the teaching of Jesus - love thy neighbour - this Sufi Master is indeed a very good Christian :)

  • A man of God is a man of love. Whatever the religion, it is the believers who are the trouble makers whereas the mystics know that their prophet was pointing to the same truth as the prophets of all other religions.

  • Can someone translate the chants or prayer that they sind at the end. I really like it.

  • @G716M I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is the servant and Messenger of Allah. O ALLAH forgive us accept our prays you lıke to accept prays.you always exıst.you were exıst ,before everythıng and you wıll be.everythıng under control of you.you are most powerfull.

  • None sense.

Sufism was a violent movement if not a violent ideology. It spread as a result of the Mongol's devastation of the East. Sufis were always used to advance state policy.

One clear example is Safawis who started off as Sufis and ended up killing millions of people in Iran spreading Shiism and killing every person who would not accept their weird teachings.

  • @alfalfafalafelmafia you say the safawis started out as sufis; judas iscariot started out as a follower of Christ.

  • @olmgitnhftws

the Ghazis of Turkey were of the Bakdashi Sufi Tarika.

What I am saying is: even though one ideology may appear to be peaceful and another as violent, Movements espousing such ideologies are not necessarily peaceful.

YOu want to promote sufism as a peaceful expression, right?. Good for you and us, but this deos not mean the movement itself is inherently peaceful. It is all in the socio-economic and historical environment, not in the words themselves.

  • The fights purely in self defence, were in battle fields with the once who wanted to fight,,, not dropping bombs on INNOCENT people.

And one more thing Islam is not any other faith where you can just throw anything as every single act of Prophet is recorded by "Muhadicen'. In order to prevent false claims,, such as yours... Please educate yourself, and don't talk your head, seek the truth

  • @dudparty ... You are so wrong Mr dudparty and it is a SHAM,,,, please educate yourself brother. Our beloved prophet had never ordered assignation of people who opposed him. Every fight was to protect the Muslims from the non_muslims All IN SELF DEFENCE ONLY, FROM THE NON MUSLIMS.

  • MashAllah, beautiful and dignified. This is pure Islam (peace) This Shaykh is a living saint and I would encourage all to find out more about the beauty and wisdom contained in the Holy Quran and increase your love for Allah's most beloved prophet, our blessed Nabbi Muhammed( Sallahu alahai Wasallam)

  • Beutiful!

  • suffis are 90% right but where they fall down is in obedience to Allah subhannawatalla in matters that we dont understand. in certain times and instances we have to do things that with our limits we may think as being irreligious. i.e our prophet peace be upon him sometimes ordered assinations of people who oposed him. in our religion sometimes we have to fight and hate those who disbelieve. sufis take the easy route and ignore this part of deen. love comes easy, but this part is the real test

  • In Holy Quaran says : we created you different ....so that you know and learn about each other" ...it doesn't say so that to kill each other. 1400 years ago there were many who opposed the profit Mohammad, and they fight back. 1400 years ago Islam and Christianity made wars to expand ( right or wrong) unfortunately in 21st century there is still Taleban or hojatieh version of Islam who encourage diversity and hate as opposed to real one which promotes unity and peace.

  • you say there where many who opposed islam 1400 yrs ago and what about now. does nobody opose islaam now ? if we agree that people opose islam then we agree that its right to fight back. this is by your understanding not mine.

  • @dudparty brother when did Mohammad s.a.w.s order a assassination? (Killing a person for murder and spreading corruption is not assassination.)

  • Kabbalists.. and even Jesus teaches the same thing. I say teaches and not "preaches". What these sages try to teach us is nothing more than things that already exists in nature, but that we yet has to be revealed "within" ourselves. ... and that's another question.

  • From my impression, if not quite wrong, he's talking about to come to "Love thy neighbour as thyself". - An universal love, that is and ever will be- that we have to open our senses to and build above our "ego". Despite our color, culture, religion and narrowmindness etc. The only thing that's "wrong" in the world is our relation to each other. We must "adopt" trust, mutual respect and love for all mindkind- like the rest of nature... instead of fighting it. Peace !

  • he is Qalander he is lover of Allah ..... DUM Dastager ....her Dum Dastager HAQ HAQ HAq........

  • A Sufi Master is not to be worshiped

People always think Sufism worship human beings, but thats not how it works...its simple, its respect for the teacher and spiritual guide, just like the professors of your colleges and universities..the sufi master is the teacher of the strategy of life.

  • what were they saying at the end?? Please please some one translate!!

  • He (and they) were repeatedly chanting the Muslim Creed-the two testifications of Faith- and seeking forgiveness:

    1- Ashhadu allaa ilaaha illa Allah ;

    I testify that there is no god but Allah (God);

    2- Ashhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulull-laah;

I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (God)

    3- Astaghfirullah;

    I seek forgiveness from Allah;

  • 4-Then, Shaikh Kabbani ends off with a longer form of "seeking forgiveness from Allah"

Astagfirullah al-lathee laa ilaaha illa hu wa atuubu elayh

I seek forgiveness from Allah; there is no god but Him, and I seek repentance through him

  • Thank you so much :)

  • i think this has to do a lot with a book by

Yehuda Berg The power of kabbala

    he is telling the truth

i belive in Light and he is shoing as how to get it.

  • It is obvious that you have not analized the words expressed through this man, but it is YOU who must act and say whats on your mind, so that we can learn from you, you are a reminder as well as your atittud... thanks for your comment...

ps: he is not the one beeing followed if you carefully look at it...

Beliver in Islam and Mohammed as last prophet...

  • @yasjodan

" soon or later he will say's I'm your god come and worship me "

Yes, you think it? I think he is very old and he still had not said such things.

Maybe you afraid to discover that good people still exists?

  • @yasjodan

have you got a brain????... retard

  • I see your point, but not need to disrespect the mentally handicapped.

  • Did you actually turn on the mute button?

  • yes I did. what about you ?

  • Well obviously you did...no I had the volume on and I watched all 3 vids and he seems quite humble in my opinion and in no way is claiming to be a deity or wanting to be worshiped..quite the opposite.

  • @yasjodan

  • accepting others is accepting yourself, there is no difference, you=me,when you judge someone you are judging yourself so it all starts by being more kind to ourself, liking yourself and you like yourself when you do something nice to someone else, every person has a lot to give! : )

    Astagfiroellah,May Allah forgive

  • thanks for posting these 3 videos...these videos are really proves to be eye opener to me....

  • Words of realization

  • I am amazed at the tolerance of this Sufi, it gives me hope. today i gave $20 (and big deal really) to poor beggar in the st on 6th ave NY. what floored me was the absolute joy and surprise on his face and his blessing was so wonderful

  • Enlightened ones like Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha etc taught us to love humans, not the people of a particular religion, gender, creed etc

  • @peterthesongman joy is to give, not to take or keep. god bless you

  • Indeed a great video. Thanks for posting. The question I ask is HOW does one accept others? I realize that is a key to the divine but what are the steps one should take to accept another's "wrongful" or even unfair behaviour. I truly believe this as TRUTH but I am lacking the wisdom...any fruitful discussion on this issue would be appreciated. :)

  • Google for ''levels of nafs''. Just keep sufism in your life everyday. Try to be a good person believing that everything is coming from One. Soon you'll see how earth starts to serve you, open your eyes to see it. At least that is what I am doing.

  • The hand gesture he is doing is really important, I think. When your hands are clinched, you won't be able to receive so open them to increase the surface area to receive more from the One. You're hands need to be empty to receive so give out what you can, hope you get able to give out everything you can in time.

  • Remember world exists with contrasts (no ''black'' exists without white, no ''pain'' exists without you live the time you had no pain and relaxed) So to receive and being served, serve and give.

  • @crusader, I think also to remember that people who act "wrongful" also contain the divine, However they may be choosing fear over love. Remembering that helps you accept them.

  • masha'Allah great video :)

  • Thanks so much for posting these 3 videos of his talk. He's a great man. I'm not saying this because I'm Sufi, because I'm not any religion. Truth is universal, and he speaks of these universal truths. I love it!

  • extraordinery speach

  • VAHEGURU

  • there is one only one creator, what ever name you call him/her, there is only one cast= humanity there is only one book= nature and there is only one religion the religion of love, and mawlana Sheik Nazim and Sheik Hisham is the embodiment of that love, i have been a witness to it, and it has transformed me from darkness into the light, i wish the Muslim world followed their exaples, the real carriers of the true teachings of Muhammad PBUH love is all that we need

  • This real Sufi made islam proud...I never know there is a sufi in America...MAY Allah longer his life...He got so much to give...

  • Thank you much for putting in this vedeo lecture.

  • I like what he says about human kind... We are meant to be here and be undisturbed... because of enlightenment.

  • Subhanallah. Thank you for sharing. Great great knowledge.

  • Thank you Shaykh Hisham.

  • Much Love to people round the Globe!

    Jah Blessings to All!!

  • Such simple, beautiful wisdom! Its beauty lies in its simplicity.. God bless this man! He and the likes of him make me a better Sufi..

  • I love what this Sufi sheikh has to say, but would a member of his tariqah, please explain to me (as a new guy to understanding Sufism), how is it that a man so peaceful like Sheikh Hisham, and Sheikh Nazim, and the great Sufi masters, follow Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, who married Aisha at the age of 8 years old, and killed thousands of people in the Middle East to spread his religion? I just have a problem connecting this peaceful Sheikh to early violent Islam. Sincerely with love. thanks!

  • Violence2Peace, The answer to your question is that the Muhammad you know and the Muhammad these Shaykhs know are not the same. To learn more about the Muhammad these shaykhs love and revere, you have to read the books of those who knew him first hand and not those who for their own reasons try to distort his reality. I recommend to you one book for a starter: Muhammad the Messenger of Islam, It is written by a woman Hajja Amina Adil (a beautiful women saint)

  • Sufi92, thank you so much for this enlightening answer. So true and it helps me now more answer that question to others from this wonderful perspective :)

  • Thanks brother Sufi92 for your wise and kind reply. However, what would you tell teh people who experienced violence in the name of Islam? Khalid Bin Walid, an early Muslim leader, beheaded 10,000 Kurds in the valley of Martyrs in Kurdistan of Iraq. Not to mention taking women and children as slaves. Did you know your Saudi Muslim brothers to this day believe in slavery, because Islam did not condemn slavery?

I love Sufis, but not sure about Islam as a cultish Arab-centered religion. Peace.

  • dear violence2peace, in response to ur question about what Khalid Bin Walid did, theres a clear hadith that says that our prophet was innocent from what khalid did. The hadith reports that our beloved prophet (SAW) lifted his arms to heaven n said: Allahumma inni baree' mimma fa3la Khalid. Meaning: Oh Allah, I am innocent from what Khalid did. Khalid did that without our prophet's knowledge n when he received news about it, he condemned it. This is not what Islam preaches. Hope this helps

    Peace

  • Islam gives equal rights to slaves n da childern of masters!! Its only da word that is slave!! :)

Behind every shord words like "....beheaded 10000 kurds....." There is a lengthy context!! :)

  • @sufi92 When was this book written? What about the Quran? It is still their sacred text..is it not?

  • @Violence2Peace I guess you can begin to understand sufism by stopping making offensive comments about people's beliefs and prophets that they choose to follow and by learning to look from others perspective too.

  • @Violence2Peace Aisha was placed under the protection of the Prophet. They did not marry until she was an adult.

  • @Violence2Peace as u knu of the midle eastern history.... you should also know how muhammad was treated when he told how equal everybody is ... thousands of people in midle east killed by muhammad?? if u could tell me about a certain case at which muhammad ordered such command than i shall come with an answer!!! and another thing..... imagine the midle eastern world without the teaching of Muahammad!!!!

  • @Violence2Peace

prophet mohammad sallellahu alaihi wa sallam married a girl to take shahada witness from her that he came for the peace of the worlds of different dimensions

he killed the zalimeen who came to fight against peace and came as a fighter of satan against him in the battle field

after the all battles only 250 people from his enemy side was killed

those battles are not like world war 1st and 2nd

    i think u r misunderstood man

  • @Violence2Peace

go and read history. u will learn much about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

  • @Violence2Peace There is answer to your question on my blog at "bullshitblog. co. cc". Pl remove the spaces. The age has been misreported. Al-Tabari documented each and everything that he heard. The reason was that he wanted to convey all the knowledge to the later generations, so that they may establish what that is right.

In the light of the Prophet(pbuh), some seek law, some way of life, some morals n ethics, some wisdom, some science n others seek just God. He is a the brightest beacon.

  • @Violence2Peace I as a Muslim promote and believe in Allah and His Prophet`s teachings and examples, therefore, when i look at another human being, I don`t see color, creed, religion, status, but another drop in the ocean of creation; whom the Divine blew life into, all of us from a single soul. There are Muslims who are taught to see the Prophet in the same way you were taught, it makes them harsh and rigid. They`re closed, not feeling their way, just copying and imitating with prejudice.

  • @Violence2Peace please don`t think I`m calling you prejudice. I mean as in, there are many misconceptions regarding Islam and the Prophet of Islam, and even Muslims have taken it on board, hence the violence and segregation and general harsh rigidness.

The world is ready for something knew. A spiritual consciousness is rising, and Sufism is the way forward, the true essence of Islam. Certain so-called followers of the Prophet don`t realize Muhammad pbuh was Sufi.

    peace.

  • @Violence2Peace Go and do your own research and you will find the answer, once you understand then you will have the explenation.

  • @Violence2Peace

    Hi

you are looking at just a part of the picture and with your perspective and your knowledge. A lot of what happened in those days was very relevant to those days and if you try to judge it with today's morals, then it would seem wrong to you. When Islam came into being, it was beset from all sides by other adversaries. Christianity and Judaism and of course the Arabs of that time did not want a religion that would make everyone equal, so they wanted to wipe out this voice.

  • @Violence2Peace

the Muslims of those days had to defend themselves against all of these people who wanted to wipe out a religion that would make everyone equal and give them equal rights under the law and under the sun. You need to get away from the Western history and look at what really happened. Do not fall for the histories that have been written by bigots, racists and fanatics. Try to find out the real facts and then you will know.

  • thanks bro, does anyone know when these sheikhs come to cali?

  • He comes to Bay Area (Berkeley) twice a year he just left past month. I always attend every lecture he gives and am close to his family here. Usually there isn't a long advanve notice when he comes. Usually we find out a week in advance or so. If you provide your e-mail I could let you know.

  • Johan314,

I think if you are a truth-seeker, or, in other words, a Sufi, you will not have to bother with the question of whether or not Muhammad (PBUH) is a prophet or not because you will understand that anyone who spreads love or truth is a Jesus, Muhammad or Buddha. The distinctions are unimportant.

  • wise words master. what was with men in left corner?

  • This is perfect posing, divine food for believer/truthseeker

    Many thanks

    May Allah forgive us

  • sweet as honey sharp as a laser truth like experience

  • amazing

    God is LOVE

  • A sufi is someone who is trying to understand who he is and trying to please his lord, in that regards all truth seekers can be called sufis; but truth seekers must eventualy accept the truth as it is and not as they would like it to be; and the truth is that Muhammad is the Final Messanger of the same lord we all worship, that is what all true sufis have believed over the centuries.

  • I have one question: Can non-muslims be sufis? lately, sudism is considered as a philosophy and not as a part of religion (Islam). Can a christian be a sufi, altough he doesnt accept Muhammed (SAV) as messenger?

I know that it is not an easy question. Thanks in advance.

  • Sufi or Sufism derives from the Islamic science of Tasawuf which means purication of the heart. Tasawuf or sufism binds the 2 core Islamic sciences of Tawheed(Islamic Monotheism) and Fiqh(Divine Laws) together. If it is taken as philosophy, than that it is all to the practicer, just another philosophy or meditation technique. Sufism is about the love for the one true Creator.

  • Merhaba Gulum,

When you become selfless and serve your surroundings with compassion, then you are a Muslim, a Jew, a Christian, etc. The essence is the content (you) & not the container (ideology / ritual). All you have to do is Love. Love of everything beginning with yourself, the rest will follow. Do it a little bit at a time but consistently until there is nothing left but Love. This is my limited understanding. I wish you well.

  • Ne ayaksin?

  • When u reach da esteem u become a Muslim!! God blesses such people wid truth!!! and when they close their eyes there is no more dark!! Its light inside them!! God is love n mercy but also justice!!

  • Johan314, There are non denominational sufis in the west who fell in love with the arts, poetry, music and philosophy of the Sufis. The traditional Sufis are Muslims. All Sufis though accept Muhammad (pbuh)as a messenger of God. Once you are on the path of seeking the truth, you can not pick and choose what suits your preconception of what is true and what is not. The truth is that god sent 124000 Messengers and prophets. They all serve the one God, and Muhammad is one of them.

  • @sufi92 Brother Mohammad is also the last and the seal of the Prophets.

  • @MissionaryAslama s.a.w.s

  • @sufi92 but surely if you believe in one God and the fact that Prophet Muhammad SAW is a messenger of God, you are a Muslim as these beliefs are the criteria for being a Muslim ( i bear witness to the fact that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad pbuh is his prophet).

  • @johan314 sufism is not limited to religion.. the only reason.. u see india as yet united with soo manny religions is because of rise of sufism .. that makes every human of every religion to believe in the sufi.. without changing religion. hindus, muslims sikhs still visit sufi places in india.. and pay respect.. without any religious change...

  • @johan314 I have my own opinion on the way sects are born. Isnt it weird that sufis were first born in Iran/Afganistan a region where Zoroastrianism was strong. Isnt it weird that shiites are mainly in iran, their previous religion was Zoroastrianism. I personally believe as a Alevi, which has similar aspects to Sufism. That the spiritual side to sufism has been influenced by Zoroastrianism. If you read Zoroastrianism you will notice the points are very similar. The music and ideology.

  • @csat35 I first came across the word Zoroastrianism in the Quran, possibly in the chapter; `A Table Spread`, that title always makes me think of `The Last Supper`, anyway, and I keep meaning to check it out. My cousin keeps coming across the mention of Zoroastrianism also, and he too means to check it out, I don`t know if he has yet. Just a case of being careful of the sources we derive info from, because there is a lot of interference with truth due to the `agenda`.

  • good logic and i like it
