  • Hans Zimmer did an amazing job, yet again...

  • I never pictured Tom Hanks as Robert langdon

  • i loved the movie, but this was my favorite part♥.

When Robert finally finds the tomb of Maria Magdalene.

  • so fake but still interesting.

  • Great movie, epic and touching ending, and I don't understand why it has such a low rating on Imdb.

  • Did you check under the shopping mall?

  • this ending is so epic, tom hanks is brilliant!!!!<3

  • It was in the paintings (very old ones reinassaince and older). The quotes that were kept and recorded through time. Most the time frame was marked for a purpose.

The quotes dont make sense to some people. But to those of us that experienced it, it makes PERFECT sense.

  • It was all hidden in riddles.

In everything, around this person. This person couldnt escape from it. If "THEY" knew what you liked, it would be rigged to where you could see it and get USED at the sametime. Possibly murdered for money or whatever too that you never knew about.

  • I'm a catholic and this movie's da shit!

  • @snakedemon11 your name snake & demon explains your intolerance.

One of the best book I have read & a lovely movie.

Better introspect about your Catholic church .

  • @sehgalpp yeah, cause that just made sense........i said this movie is "da shit" which means awesome.....but whatever....

  • @snakedemon11 nice humour -- thanx.

  • Neither Holy Blood Holy Grail or the book it inspired, The Da Vinci Code was really about a bloodline........watch an interview of Pierre Plantard in which he alludes to a treasure at Rennes Le Chateau and there the beginning will be

  • So, if i understand... the graal is french, no ? It means that the Jesus's family is french. Cool ! XD

  • I love the book and the movie.

  • you need to look at the world with better eyes,we are here for a reason.

  • BEST ENDING EVERRRRRRRR :D

  • Read the book first then watch the movie for revision :D

  • Tom Hanks was born to be Robert Langdon.

  • @andorhalier he always be Gump to me.

  • The narration kinda ruined it

  • @clubpenguinsux1 What's wrong with narrating the riddle?

  • @akira6666666 its actually o'er her not are her

  • i was so disapointed when i actually went to Paris and realised below the glass pyramid is actually just a shopping mall.

  • @redman8903 :( no holy grail, may be Robert was decieved too, maybe the Grail IS lost forever, epic SAD :P

  • @saqin Where the hell is the holy bitch? Buried beneath the entrace, of Abercrrobie and fitch.

  • @redman8903 ya. that really would ruin a vacation

  • @redman8903 loool.maybe they got something beneath the shopping mall, france is full of historic weird shit

  • @redman8903 hahahaha

  • @redman8903 They have moved her..yet again.

  • epic ending scene it gives me a goosebump!!!

  • What I find hilarious is that finding Mary Magdalene's body does not prove Jesus had kids. Even if they could trace DNA back to Mary, it doesn't prove that she and Jesus had a child. She could have just as easily had married someone else since the Bible does not say that Jesus had a romantic relationship with her

  • Hans Zimmer's score and Tom Hanks' soulful voice made this ending so wonderful!

  • Did Jesus had a daughter? This question basically destroys the foundation of all christiantiy this questioning Jesus divinity. I'm only 17 so im still learning but does it really matter if the son of god had children and does it really matter that god created another species equally as smart as humans somewhere out there or maybe even more intelligent, im not atheist but im not gonna entirely beleive what a book written by ancient scholars cause im sure the bible is not entirely accurate

  • @TheCash21011x

Well .... i am not intending to ruin your faith .... but there are other ancient bibles that resemble jesus as a normal human but was sent by god (the all-creator) to re-educate the human race about God ...

Well .... i am muslim ... so maybe what you learn in your church isn't really the same as mine ....

  • @kickassemperor Muslim, Christian, Buddhist doesn't matter im sure all religiousness lead the same God or some divine creator, maybe he was the son of god maybe he wasn't, truth is im really open to anything and we did learn different things in church lol, but anyway thanks for considering other peoples feelings and beliefs :) BTW my girlfriend is Muslim

  • I cried watching this scene. When I was in Paris, I went to The Louvre and this tune was playing in my iPod for the whole time I was there. Epic is an understatement.

  • @SamritpalSingh i did too, it was so difficult for me to watch this movie because it questioned everything that i was taught, yet it all made sense...my views drastically changed over the last 10 years

  • Robert M. Price has written an excellent book, 'The Da Vinci Fraud', which B. Thiering says gives the non expert the actual informtion about sources Brown so often misuses. Gerd Ludemann says the book stimulates the reader to check Price's daring theses against the context of the texts themselves. Earl Doherty writes, the book gives an entertaining and informative debunking of Brown's fanciful plot along with Christianity's equally fanciful traditions about its own beginnings

  • @zytigon either way it goes it DID give stimulus enough to cause people to re-think what they know, and yes trace and see if this is true. and so aside form entertainment, the objective was met i would say.

  • this movie is a worst example of Christian propaganda.

Even when he finds out the alleged truth (making Christianity bullshit pretty much) he decides to not share the truth with the world, because he thinks that religion does more good than bad??? That's idiotic to say the least.

  • @ReducedToAsh It would crumble religion giving rise to other religions. It's a horrible idea if you think about it.

  • @mmmmmvodka Crumble Christianity I mean.

  • @mmmmmvodka I agree, but the thing is, the movie didn't portray what you described. The movie made it seem as if Christianity is such a good and wonderful thing, that it gives hope and such, so it doesn't matter if people are lied to. Even many plot descriptions say so. Also, they made Teabing such an evil and obsessed figure for simply wanting to reveal the truth... why?

Even if religion was a lovely thing (which it isn't) I think it's stupid to live in lies because the truth doesn't please us

  • @mmmmmvodka actually I'm sick of today's religions, would love to see new religions that teach REAL morals. But until then, i will gladly stay Atheist.

  • @Deagle107 man when i was a kid i hated people like you! but now i actually think you guys are probably the most sensible and reasonable people out there, i watched the mist and saw that crazy christian woman lol, i think people use religiousn for comfort so they dont fell so alone in the world but meh im running on with crap right now

  • holy virgin mary .....doesnt mother where is she rest....only important thing is if you believe or not.....all other is nonimportant......

  • i believe the jesus bloodline theory. this movie really opened my eyes and made do alot of research about this increible bloodline! i truly believe with all my heart mary & jesus's descendants are out there!

  • @HorrorMovieCollab No there isn't you retard. Jesus ascended into heaven. You're basing this upon a stupid fiction movie and other shitty unreliable sources which proves how ignorant you are. If you actually believe this bullshit, then you're effed up dude...

  • @Georgiie69 your the irogant one you little shit! i don't believe in god or heaven. but i can choose to believe whatever i want.

  • @HorrorMovieCollab okay i spelt arrogant wrong!

  • This movie is absolute bullshit. Absolutely bullshit.

  • @Georgiie69 ,

Equal the last scene is EPIC

  • @cesaraugustothanos No, it's not. This movie is crap and it fucking stupid.

  • @Georgiie69 ,

Yes, it is. This movie is EPIC

  • @Georgiie69 .

You may even disagree with the script of the film (especially if you are a christian). But the photograph, the interpretation of the actors, the special effects and the final scene are wonderful.

  • @cesaraugustothanos I disagree with the whole film.

  • @Georgiie69 ,

You isn´t movie criticism....Da Vinci Code is a great movie.

  • @Georgiie69

I really have no idea why people are getting so upset over a work of fiction. It's entertainment, it entertains. I quite enjoyed the movie, but don't believe for a moment any of it is true. It's like people getting angry because Indiana Jones depicts the Nazis trying to use holy relics as super weapons, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED! THAT'S BULLSHIT, INDIANA JONES IS BULLSHIT.

  • @jarvy251 isn't all religion just a work of fiction?

  • @TheCrocoduck

I'm pretty sure pastafarianism is real.

  • @TheCrocoduck No I dont think so. Recently my own faith was renewed and I'm back with my church. I think religion gives people faith and hope. Now the stories we've all heard can be argued as myth, like the Olympian Gods and heroes. There isnt much difference, and maybe 3000 years ago people in Greece and the surrounding regions and in Rome & Italy worshipped the way do today.I do believe the Church over the generations has covered things up, but that has nothing to do with a person's faith.

  • @Cavillier1970 i'm glad you're happy going back to brainwash-ville, but my original question was implying that the stories of religions are all made up.

  • @TheCrocoduck No reason to be nasty about my decisions. Just because my faith was restored dont think I'm brainwashed bubba. Believe me I'm the most defient person out there, this is my own choice. There are lot of people who turn to the church to help themselves out of some real dark holes such as drinking or drugs. If a chruch or some group who are looking to help them recover I say more power to them .

  • @Cavillier1970

So what makes your beliefs more valid than the countless other religions that have came and gone over the millenniums?

  • @TheKanonHara Nothing. See I am 1/2 Senecan on my Mother's side, but was raised Roman Catohlic by my adopted family. When I found out about my bioloigical origins, I studied the Native ways and believe in them, in the Great Spirit and the albino buffalo, Miriacle who changed color five times. All this has lead me to personally believe that we (all men) can only know so much at our current levels. I dont think man is meant to know everything at this point, perhaps afterwards.

  • Wheter a person is Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Wiccian, whatever, I believe at some point, at some level all are connected. It maybe all of the centuries and intolarance and stupidity that has closed the minds and eyes to what maybe there. I think if people look to the possibilities they'll see we have more in common than not. I wonder how this world would be if that were to happen. I would never force my views on anyone, I live my life according to what I believe is right.

  • @TheKanonHara If I were to assume my beliefs were more valid than anyone elses that would make me just as arrogant as those who forced their wills on others to change others' religions and beliefs. Frankly I think the world has had more than enough intolerance. Now if someone wishes to discuss the matter with me in a civil way I'm a more than happy to listen to their point of view. I never claimed to know all and am willing to learn what they might bring to the dance.

  • @Cavillier1970

From my point of view at least, there is nothing magical or supernatural out there. Just a pointless void full of balls of fire and rocks, governed by unbreakable laws that to exist to keep us anchored to the general vicinity of our planet, until our sun expands and destroys us all.

All Religion and all human experience has been spent in the attempt to formulate truth so we don't have to contemplate the horror of being without reason.

    The depressing, horrible truth.

  • @TheKanonHara I do think people need a basic guideline to follow as a reminder of how to live & treat one another. I think one difference between you and I is I have faith. I believe there is something for me after I die. Whether it is God or whatever I dont know, but I know its there. I think I have my faith because a few years ago I felt my Grandmother's presence with me when I was baking her cake recipe. It clear and strong and I knew she was in the kitchen with me.

  • I respect your opinions but I cant believe all the experiences people have are the way you describe. Man can reason, and has done so. Granted we're all limited, but it happens. I honestly hope some how/ some way you will have faith as well. You have to remember I was raised Catholic and was an alter boy when I was kid, which was my choice not my folks. So maybe the seeds were still there even after decades of doubts and questions and not going.

  • I really regret not catching this film in theaters; this scene is epic, to say the least.

  • i´ve seen this movie like 7 times and this scene still gives me goosebunps xD

  • This End scene was Stunning to watch....i bet you could hear a pin drop during this scene....Every one on the edge of their seats...I know i was <33

  • great scene, wonderful closing...

  • A shame it was not real, that would blow a few minds and wreck more than a few religions...

  • @Nighthawke70 its not now...but imagine if it happened...some archeologist actually found mary's sarcophagus, JUST marys. It would shake the world. I believe in the jesus blood line. If Im not mistaken and Im not trying to start arguments but the bible says jesus basically came down from heaven and became mortal. So he could have kids and those kids could be walking among us and no one would ever know.

  • @y2joct7 Jesus is the Word made flesh. There are mysteries here that are better left just as mysteries. Sometimes small-w "words" simply cannot encompass the Word of Truth. Soli Deo gloria

  • Chevaliers De Sangreal completely makes this scene. In fact it makes the whole film.

  • "She rests at last beneath starry skies" one of all time favorite movie lines!

  • The Holy Grail neath ancient Roslin waits.Adorned in masters loving art she lies. The Blade and Chalice guarding are her gates. She rests at last beneath the stary skies.

  • I love this part and the movie. The novel The Davinci Code is nevertheless invented of any rooms but there are elements (persons, evennements) which are true. But all at once it shows us that (and this the truth) Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute and perhaps the Bible would not tell us all truth on Jesus Christ.

  • @dinotehc

I agree. The Bible was written by man and therefore there's room for error and distortions. I don't think that it would be wrong for Jesus to have had a wife and child and still be able to perform these miracles- I just don't see it that way as the majority of the world would have. Makes us think about things, doesn't it? ^_^

  • @BackstretchRunner remember the "church" of the middle age were the bad guys of history. not only they dare change what it says but the Bible itself is incomplete cuz they thought they had the right to decide what should and shouldn´t be in God´s manual. i´m not saying this is real but there are many things that we don´t even know if its real thanks to them.

  • @ty0052

The Davinci Code gives you something to think about, and MAKES you think on some of these things that have shaped human history on such a degree. There are bits and pieces of the Bible that we've never seen, and never will see. The way that I myself am following my faith is by living by what my gut tells me is right, and allowing God to guide me instead of man because I feel sometimes that by following man's views, I've thrown off the original intent of the Bible to begin with. :)

  • @BackstretchRunner same, sadly if i say something similar to someone at church i´m pretty sure they´ll look me like omg he´s an heretic(sp?) cuz they have the tendancy that if it is not written, it´s not true. even if their conciense is yelling them the answer.

  • @ty0052

I completely agree with you. Apparently they just can't think for themselves?? ^^ It's not that you're questioning God, you're questioning man's interpretation of God's word because it's selective and incomplete- there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion <3

  • This scene gives me goosebumps every single time i watch it. can say that its the only scene that does it to me!!!

  • in the movie i remember he said that if he finds the jesus wife he will comes and bows to her

  • She rest at last beneath starry skies.

  • An epic ending to the movie !!

  • I love Paris ^^

  • about time humanity learns the truth of Mary Magdalene and Jesus love marriage children family and faith - and the myth of christian doctrine as fabricated by the pathetic "christians" falls apart as it must - since it is just that - a fabrication attempting to deceive people and cover up the Truth which must always reach the light. Thanks God for "Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" book and the authors which brought us that and inspired Dan and Blythe Brown.

  • Honestly, i didn't really like this movie except the musical score was amazing (Hans Zimmer of course!). But re-watching the ending, it really touches me. Reminds me if your on an adventure, when you think its over, theres only more secrets to be found.

  • Jesus may have or have no descendants, may be mortal or divine, may be myth or fact, and may be god or man; But he is still a human inspiration of the divinity of man's life.

  • @HoiMackoi Amen.

  • Can someone please tell me how, if possible, I can contact a type of Da Vinci Code society or group? I have some information concerning Rennes Le Chateau, expressed in a book I wrote in 1991..........I'd love to share it

  • @mjtf1113

then just share it over the internet!

  • Anyone know this soundtrack, the ending scene of film? (instrumental version) very much appreciated.

  • @Sanfordkill100 its called 'chevaliers de sangreal' by Hans Zimmer :)

  • Please people is Langdon A knight too, he is taking the priory knight salute by kneeling infront of the sychophagus

  • @JiggaXYZ well in the book it said that if you every get to see the grave of mary you showed bow before her or something like that.

  • my gof.. there is something about this scene that moved me.. when i saw this in the cinema.. i got tearful... the music.. the ending.. wow.. what a effect something can have on a people

  • i do think that jesus being married n having a child doesn't change anything he did for this world...so why do ppl make a fuss for it....

  • Guys, dont try to dig a hole in the louvre like the movie says. Its only the market starbucks down there. Try , and u'll get arrested. Just sayin'

  • @Yesitsreallyme333 whats the website?

  • I love, love, love this film, music so much :)!

  • The 1 person who dislikes this video is Silas.

  • This is, from my point of view, the best ending for a film... There must be so many tourists at the Louvre imitating Tom Hanks. Well I know that there are, I live at one hour from Paris.

  • @moviesmagicandmore12 i did on wednesday haha! but there's no glass floor like shown is there that he walks over? was very disappointed, and stupid unobservant me couldn't see the inverted pyramids

  • The Holy Grail neath ancient rosilyn waits. Adorned in masters loving art she lies. The Blade and Chalice guarding are her gates. She rests at last beneath stary skies. This is actually what he says. Wtf is watergates btw lol!

  • @akira6666666 LOL i my thoughts exactly

  • @akira6666666 It's "O'er her gates" not "are".

Actually in the book the riddle is in a different order.

The Holy Grail neath ancient Rosslyn waits

The Blade and Chalice guarding o'er her gates

Adorned in masters loving art she lies

She rests at last beneath starry skies.

  • @akira6666666 o'er her gates. Not "are"

  • @Yesitsreallyme333 Then why does his books mock the shit out of the Vatican and the popular image of Christianity?

  • movie about jesus fooling everyone... what response?

Cartons with muhammed = embassys on fire, death threats, riots and murders.

Islam= religion of peace? on what basis?

  • can a soundtrack by any more awesome than this?

  • @stormssc No ! :D

  • Thank you for this wonderful video. I had traveled all the way to Paris to know the truth. In Paris my guide told me she could not tell me whether Mary Magdalene was lying beneath the Louvre because I was not French. Do you really think Mary is buried under the inverted pyramids in the Louvre?

  • @roymorgan276 it was confirmed in the film that there is no chamber, presumably the tomb of Mary Magdalene, underneath the inverted pyramid of Louvre.

  • part of me really wishes the remains of Mary Magdeline really were there. i dunno, it would just make the experience much better when I finally do go to Paris

  • goodness...when ever i see this scene it makes me cry at the power and emotion of it!!tom hanks reaction to it is magnificent and the music...it just blows me away!!

  • I want...no ...I NEED to own this music....

  • Not a single dislike. Win.

  • I get goosebumps every time I watch this scene, especially as an avid art lover; it's just pure poetry.

  • epic lines -powered by mr zimmer's art- go like this:

the holy grail 'neath ancient roslin waits

adorned in masters loving art she lies

the blade and chalice guarding o'er her gates

adorned in masters loving art she lies

she rests at last beneath starry skies

  • what is the name of the song in the background?

  • @miley3661 hans zimmer - chevaliers de sangreal

  • Epic Win

  • Goo Woody ......protect the mary...

  • One of the most beautiful scenes filmed until now. One of the nicest I've seen in my life.

  • dont get why this movie got so many negative reviews. I'm a protestant Christian and I think this is a beautiful film in many ways

  • @njf1208 Just finished reading the book and watched the film today, I was shocked to see that Rotten Tomatoes simply slaughtered this film. I loved it! This scene is so powerful! Go Ron, Dan and Tom!

  • @flybywire09 I know right? I mean honestly you don't even have to think that much, they tell you everything. I should say tho that it was criticized for going "chase scene, explanation, chase scene, explanation etc." but there aren't too many other ways to do it and I think they all did a great job even so. I didn't even notice that "pattern" when I first watched the film. It kept me enthralled and wondering but didn't leave me in the dust either. This film is not anti-Christian, its pro-Thought

  • the catholic religion has so many mysterious articles that we should to know...amazing!

  • I think this is just so beautiful. It makes me very emotional. I dislike so much how the Catholic Church always puts women as horrible creatures... specially her. She deserves better! I believe it's beautiful to think that Jesus loved her, that he was a man and a human being. Sigh...

  • Best scene of the movie.

  • Awesome movie, almost got chills at this part. The story could have ended at the church, but the im glad the writer decided to make the story complete

  • After seeing many Hans Zimmer scored films nobody creates crescendo music like him.

  • so powerful scene, plus such a powerful song...just amazing

  • ..............a continuation of my previous comment.............an almost identical form of the shape of the blood in the sink was on the ground.................at this location..........funny, but, Rennes Le Chateau was never mentioned in the movie.........it should have been......the place I am referring to is a 'satellite' to Rennes,,,,,,,,,,,,it is here, in the US.........perhaps IT and not Rennes, itself............is supposed to be the center of attention

  • I too appreciate and find this last scene very emotionally gripping but for reasons that are almost unbelievable............I am the author of a book............a small, obscure book........this scene...........I had a similar experience...........years ago, before the book came out..........it involved a certain geographical location..........something happened at this place in March of 2003........I recently took a video of this place........when I watched it....an almost identical form of

  • Too bad it is such poor quality and has an abrupt end. But it is a beautiful scene

  • my favorite scene of the movie, the music is soooo goood

  • ´´The holy grail 'neath ancient Roslin waits. The blade and chalice guarding o'er her gates. Adorned in masters' loving art, she lies. She rests at last beneath the starry skys. ´´

Amazing movie , amazing final , and amazing song... :)

  • The ending is so strong. Probably one of Tom Hank's best films ever made.

  • best scene in the movie!!!!!! :bd

    thumbs up if agree :)

  • I didn't care for a lot of Hanks' acting in this, but the look on his face in this last scene, realizing what he learned and what it implies...he totally sold me on that moment.

  • OMG! i brilliant is this scene, the music is astounding, when i hear the music combined with seeing Mary's coffin, a big smile appears and i to feel emotional.

The build up in the music makes it better to!
