Still, Frankie and the Teenagers have given us music that will stay in our hearts til the day we die.I thank God that i was a witness to this now called doo wop music.Thank you Lord and take care of Frankie Lymon. I bet he's singing his songs to you now.
Too fast? Please! Not the same?Well yeah-FRANKIES gone! I believe I saw this group at an early UGHA show and they were GREAT, as in this video. Thanks for UpLoading this Mr Schroom! Steve
Pearl McKinnon was (is) the greatest female doo wop singer of ALL time. She was lead singer of the Kodaks. I admit this is not her at her best, but beleive me, she has a fantastic voice and she's drop dead gorgeous.
jimmy mercant was never the bass singer guys it was sherman garnes....sherman sadly died in 1977, so it must have been someone else. Jimmy was always second tenor

@johnymty
Buddy Holly? Looks nothing like him. Hair, glasses...all wrong. Looks like a young Howard Stern to me.

@panzerson2 That sure looks like Jimmy doing the bass line here, though. Was this before Bobby Jay joined?

Much as I love Bobby Jay, I think Jimmy Merchant has developed a better bass voice.
