When the P2 is fully charged and plugged into the USB port a blue battery icon will display on the screen to indicate that it is fully charged. Another option is to turn the device on and go into any of the menus (ex. System) and view the battery life indicator in the top right corner. The more white bars the better.

Hey... Yes it should work fine. Solemncry posted a while back about a 5volt 1000mah charger working. They are the same thing so you shouldn't have any troubles. Of course of its defective or something like that... I didn't tell you to use it =)

Hello Solemncry, Unfortunatly I don't know all of the convertable formats. However I can tell you that emodio will convert ALL formats to SVI. SVI is probably not the smallest size format but does look good. To get the smallest size you'd want to use WMV and copy it DIRECTLY onto the P2 (skip emodio). Download and install anyvideoconverter free edition and convert your movies to WMV v9 and just drag them onto the P2. Your looking at around 600-800mb per movie... SVI might by 800-900... depends.
Honestly I don't know. I would have to ask what the charger was originally for. If it's for a blackberry, different Mp3 player or some kind of small electronic handheld device then it is likley ok. HOWEVER I am not an electrician or that technical and couldn't say what mAH the P2 can handle. If it supports a Usb cable like the one I used then I would guess that it is ok to try.
Good evening sir. I have good news for you sir. I tried a "generic" USB power adapter that has input of 100-260V-50/60Hz, output:5V--1000mA. Wow. And it works! I havent counted yet on howlong it will charge my P2. Maybe ill give you my result some other day. Just want to say thank you sir for the idea. ive a problem. i got my p2 b4 christmas. I downloaded the Firmware 5.08 and there was is games or the sub-maps in it. There is a Folder but it says '' No File''. Does anyone know wats wrong with it? Thanks for help!
You have to download the games. They just go to your computer and open "My Computer" and open up the P2 and find the folder labeled "Games" and just put the files you downloaded in that folder. PM me if you need any more help. I had the P2 before i got my 16 GB iPod Touch.
Yes you can. The P2 is a "flash capable" USB mp3 player but is built using a windows compatible region that allows syncing to WMP. If you get one and decide to upgrade the firmware to the korean version please be sure to ask me first as my instructions *can* make WMP less compatible. No worries otherwise... WMP and the P2 go hand in hand.

Their are several knock-off brand docks sold at walmart that will allow you to plug in a headphone cable to allow playback from almost any mp3 player. However you would still need to use the samsung usb cable to charge your player. And as far as I know their is no way to charge the player AND play music at the same time. I'm going to send you a link of the best docks I have found for the P2. I think if Samsung was going to make a dock for us they would have done it already. It's a shame really.
CORRECTION: You can charge AND play music with the P2 but only using a wall charger. You cannot play music while connected to your PC. So obviously an official speaker dock would be more than possible. I just read this morning that samsung is releasing a universal (all samsung mp3 players only) speaker dock. By the looks of it the sound output will be weak.
Their is a 16gig. I'm sure walmart would sell a 16gig or an 8gig in at least black. I live in Canada and have no knowledge of what they sell in the US. I do know that no colors other than black are availble in Canada (unless you order online). You'd probably have to take a look in your area. I think the price/gig ratio is not as good as the 8gig.
Its Bluetooth and sound quality versus more applications and wifi. I love my bluetooth and I want the best sound quality possible so I choose P2. Other people have different priorities.

It does come with a Samsung USB cable that you can use to charge your P2 via your PC or laptop. Yes any 5v USB wall charger/adapter will charge the P2. The Blackberry charger I show in the video is just a 5v charger with a USB port on it, works perfectly. Thanks for the comment and please let me know if you have any other questions.
This is a little bit of a grey area for me. As far as I know you need a charger that accepts 100-240V. The one in the video is for a blackberry and it will take the 240V you would need. If someone else knows more about UK voltages please step in. I will send you a link to an item on eBay that is the same as mine that will work in the UK with an adapter.

I can't remember if I replied to you or not. Some WMVs work and some don't due to how they were encoded. If they are not encoded with the right codec then they won't recognize as movies. Either way I recommend converting them to AVI and/or let Emodio convert them to SVI. If you want a good free converter, use "Any Video Converter Free Version". Google that and it's the first result. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
My main P2 review covers that subject quite well. I'll say it again... its a wiFi vs bluetooth difference. If you want a mp3/video player with a non-16:9 screen and Wifi, get the ipod touch... if you want a mp3/video player with a 16:9 screen and bluetooth then get the P2. Music and video quality are practically the same. If P2 had wifi, it would beat the touch; if the touch had bluetooth, it would be better than the p2. Please check my other vids for more info.
You should check out the "main" review of the P2. I show the games and video playback. The games and subway maps are all part of the latest firmware of the device and are a FREE download and come automaticaly when you first start the computer software for the P2. As for videos, I will be doing a walkthrough video as soon as I get time.
