  • SLOPPY!!!

  • shit demo!

  • if im not wrong jiu jitsu is more on the ground game ? ( i do brazilian jiu jitsu)

  • @TheJulianwanglin this is japanese jujitsu, not brazillian jujitsu :) yes you are correct though, BJJ is more on the ground game. japanese JJ has striking, throwing, and groundfighting

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 wats the website and how much to pay?

  • @exodia94 hey, the website is currently undergoing maintenance and is down. But you can check out our facebook group for more details. If you're a passion card member it generally costs 35 dollars a month. :)

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 and wat is ur facebook page?

  • @exodia94 for some reason i can't post the facebook link on youtube. but just search 'ju-jitsu association singapore'

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 may i noe wat i hav to pay for besides my cost fee and the purchase of the new gi?

  • @exodia94 you can choose to become a passioncard member, so that the monthly fee will be cheaper. but no, there is nothing else to pay for other than the monthly fee, gi, and the fee for grading (to purchase the new belt and cert.)

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 i heard the purchase of my new gi, cert and belt will cost me a 150 bucks?

  • @exodia94 not sure if it is that much. the gi is around 80, and the grading fee is 30ish. But I may be wrong.

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 alrite thx anyway

  • is there any club near NYP or Tiong Bharu teaching this??

  • @Trendnet18 im sorry, im afraid not :/ we only have clubs at bukit batok CC and at Tanglin CC (whitley road).

but im sure you can find other martial arts clubs near where you stay! :)

  • Any classes in the WEST ZONE of singapore ?

  • @MDIS yes, there is a dojo in Bukit Batok

  • @RodrigoVanilla93 i ever email the guys before but no reply..seems that they not interested in answering questions via emails..

  • Techniques are there, but the opponents never resisted, only helped the defender perform!

  • Its a performance....Duh.

  • Then they should just do tournaments. When I do demos, we use real force on attacks and defense, just as we would in training.

  • @lightseeker85 we do compete in tournaments, in fact several of our members have represented us, and done very well in international events as well as local events.

when both participants are using real force on each other in attack and defense, that is SPARRING, not a demo. a demo shows controlled force, and is meant to be something aesthetically pleasing/beautiful.

  • Not questioning, just when an attackers grab or make an advance, it could be spontaneous and not acted out in a demo without sparring. The person's individual style, not a style of popular name, would show to onlookers the personal development. Anyone can eventually perform a technique - monkey see, monkey do. Everyone trains people in different manners, however.

  • They are at Tanglin Community Club, Whitley Road Singapore.Students mixed from various martial art background.

  • hey could u send me some details pls i wana learn it after my O lvls nxt yr

  • Good demo

  • where can i learn this ?

  • Awesome video! Japanese Jiu Jitsu is so similar to karate. I have trained in karate and except for some of the ground fighting, karate has all these same techniques that were demonstrated.

  • Thanks!

its not surprising that they are similar, as judo, karate, as well as aikido are actually the "descendants" of ancient jujitsu.

    :)

  • amazing!
