Yeah, I don't really appreciate the profane use of language. But, I'll send love anyway. If your attempting a decision about which company would serve you best I would be happy to assist in that decision if I can help in any way. Thanks for commenting! Happy oiling to you all in the quest for optimal health!
Lavionela, for those of us looking for information on both companies, Young Living and doTERRA, you make it very difficult to want to go with Young Living. Your responses just seem so angry. I would not want to be involved with a company that has such angry people working in their corporate office or as one of their distributors. I am a person who is attempting to make a decision - wondering which company I would like to represent.
Young living is a MLM scam it seems I cancel my order last night cause of the shady history of the owner. and do the oils actually work and keeps you out of the doctor office? Im considering this method of healing but I feel its all snake oil salesman kinda stuff.
Thanks for all who give feedback and comments. Perspective and opinions are always appreciated in a respectful manner. I love what I do with doTERRA and grateful for the blessings of health and prosperity it has brought to our family and friends. Wishing you all ultimate success in your mission of health by bringing others to wholeness and joy through the power of these oils!
A new standard of purity when it comes to essential oils - "Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade" which is the "the only one of its kind"? "Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade" DoTerra coined the term, then trademarked it. This is how DoTerra can claim CPTG. The phrase "Pure Therapeutic Grade" was taken from Young Living, then DoTerra added "Certified" to appear different or better. Nothing but a cheap copy-cat. The DoTerra execs learned EVERYTHING they know from Young Living & Dr. Gary Young. Truth.
How can DoTerra essential oils "alleviate sickness" when DoTerra uses cheap perfume grade essential oils. Young Living along with medical universities have been doing vast research in the benefits of Frankincense for cancer, but only using the Frankincense varieties of Boswellia carteri & sacra. The Boswellia frereana frankincense DoTerra uses isn't even therapeutic! It is cheap perfume-grade & isn't even being used in the cancer research. DoTerra coined the term "Certified Therapeutic Grade".
DoTerra EO's cheap rip-off. Founders of DT were YL executives pretending trusted friends of Dr. Gary & Mary Young. DT copies YL's formulas, marketing..DT's foundation is unethical. Personally knew some of them. DT does not have their own farms, distilleries or testing equipment. They're a broker of cheap perfume grade EO's (ex: DT frankincense is Boswellia frereana, cheap perfume-grade. Young L's Frankincenses: Boswellia carteri & B. sacra, most medicinal & finest grade). see healingoils.info
Also, doTERRA sources their oils from growers all around the world, in the habitat the plants grow the best at. The growers have standards of growing and harvesting. The oils are steam distilled right there by the fields to ensure that the oil isn't lost in transit. All of the oils are tested by independent labs, which do a total of 7 different tests on each and every batch.
My advice is to just try doTERRA's oil, compare them for yourself and know for yourself.
I think the reason this video covers both companies is because people ask what's the difference? WHY should I use doTERRA's oils? From my personal experience, doTERRA's oils are more pure and more effective than all the other brands I've tried. I have had several brands from the health food store and my mom used to use Young Living. She also notices a vast difference. We may not have a certification, but we know when something is good! :-)
@lavionela That is true. The "doctor" couldn't make it as a doctor so Dr. Gary Young took him in as a friend, set him up in his own clinic paid & staffed by Dr. Young, who taught him everything he knows about essential oils. Then, this "doctor" & the other execs who started DoTerra store YL formula secrets & started their own company, DoTerra. I was there to see it all. The entire foundation of DoTerra is sickening, unethical & immoral. That same energy is in their cheap perfume-grade EO's.
Dear Shandi, The Best thing and the worst thing that ever happen to essential oils is Network Marketing. Why, Because uneducated consumers pickup a bottle and attend a convention and suddenly they are DR's making claims they cannot support.
There is so much garbage and "FACTS" responding to this video, it amazes me that people actually fall for this. Unless you are a trained Aromatherapist (and that may not even be enough) or have access to very expensive equipment to test YL against Do Terra what's the point? CPTG is a TRADEMARK not the quality of the oil. There is no such thing as Certified Theraputic, it's a standard that was created by Young Living but is still not recognized by any measurement other than YL and Do Terra.
Young Living is a phenomanal company and paved the way for companies like Do Terra. Do Terra is a great company as well, and I've met distributors who love the products, and that's all that matters. Do you believe in your company? Do you get results on your oils/products? Is your downline successful?
That's what important. But to state "FACTS" such as YL dilutes their oils by 10% is unfair and untrue. I've traveled to the Lavendar Farms 3 times and have actually had conversations with Gary regarding potency and spent time with Dr. Hill while he was with YL. Just a tremendous man with unparalleled knowledge. I've also tried both companies oils. Some of the Do Terra Oils were fantastic and others fell short. They lacked depth and were not as layered as some of Young Living's oils.
But, wait, That's my opinion, and in this business, sharing stories and your opinions is what sells products and this is a science of distillation, harvesting and testing which I know nothing about other than what I've read. So stop sharing information that is being given to you from your leaders at Do Terra or Young Living and just share what you know and how you feel while using the products.
There are a lot of reasons doTERRA makes videos. New company, young people, more computer literate. Young living & doTERRA are quite different but everyone thinks they are the same. I've used both so the difference in potency is very noticeable to me. I have provided my oils for FREE comparisons in groups of Young Living users. They notice right away that doTERRAs oils are stronger, sweeter, and better. Young living dilutes their oils %10. Of course they have their reasons for doing so.
Young Living Essential Oils are the best and most therapeutic to me, got sick one day and used there oils and was better the next day. Y&L Essential Oils I finf to be purest and highest in frequncy to knock out the lower frequencies associated with stress, traumas, physical illness, raising your vibration to keep you young, happy and vital.
Ummm I have seen young livings lavender farm several times and not only is it by the interstate, and beautiful by the way, but I heard that lavender is a hybrid.
I NEVER see Young Living doing videos comparing themselves to any other oil. Want to know why? They don't need to. Young Living stands alone in purity and quality. Do your homework and you will see. If doterra is so great, why even mention Young Living? Pretty low in my opinion.
To stewak, have you ever been to the Young Living Lavender farm?? I have and there is not even a road near the fields never mind an interstate. Do your homework before you talk out of school.
@HealingLotusWellness The Young Living lavender farms are in Mona Utah where the I15 Veterans memorial highway, the busiest freeway in the entire state, runs right through it. Lavender from there is not potent or sweet or indigenous to Utah. YL dilutes their oils %10. This is Fact.
Many Young living distributors won't use doTERRA because they are emotionally bound to Young living. The oils have little to do with it. One lady I met said she was just tired of worshiping Gary Young the Prophet.
Might I add Gary Young is my neighbor. I have done my homework and could school you in a thing or two about Young living. Their 15 years older & doTERRA has far surpassed them in Monthly sales? Some things speak for themselves.
Young Living bought peoples emotions and they do have videos comparing themselves but their sales tactics are sly and back handed. You wouldn't even know you are at a Young living party until your "friend" pitched their products on you. It happened to me.
@fireflyfraz1 I am researching...I would really like to know more of what you've discovered in yours. It'd be great to have someone who is Mr. Young's neighbor to tell us what they've learned about the YL company. Also, can you tell how do they dilute their oils? Anything info you can provide would be appreciated.
I know someone who used to use Young Living oils until they found lavender growing along side an interstate where the fumes from the interstate affected the plants. These plants were harvested for Young Living.....not good in my book.
@stewak03 Who is this person and what is their number. I would like to call them to have that conversation. How did they know it was Lavender from YL farms and who did they talk to regarding who was harvesting it and if it was being used for their oils.
I am interested in essential oils and doing my "homework". I have a couple of questions. Who is the certificies do terra's oils as "certified pure therapeutic grade"? Tell me a little bit more about the no weeds, no synthetics, no dilutions please. And are you an MD or is the Dr Mom just the name for your website.
@iamtshine The CPTG grade is a trademark. Not a grade of purification, while different labs give it whithout knowing what it is, it's meaningless because a trademark can only be used by those who own it. Meaning, it's like the Nike "Just do it" So, while it has it, they pay inependent labs to label it so they can say that they are the only ones who have this grade that was made up and trademarked by DoTerra.

PS - IF A REALLY ANGRY ASS DOCTOR AND A REALLY ANGRY ASS LAWYER GOT TOGETHER, THEY COULD MAKE IT HARD ON DrMom USING THE PREFIX """DOCTOR""".

Do-Terra is a copy cat! I hear the doctor who started this company was first a distributor in Young Living. Then he started his own company!!!
What a cheap ass!
Young Living oils are the purest oils out there. They are indigestible, and use the best water and soil. Go check out the farm for your self.
