But I'm sure, She'll improve and have a will have a more stunning voice when she turns 18. but for now, she needs to pick songs that is comfortable with her. I think a perfect song would be "How Do I Live" or "I Need You" both sung by Leann Rimes. she'll slay those two!

She was decent but far from the perfection carrie sung it with. she left out many notes and was gasping for breath almost the whole way through between phrases that were broken that carrie sang it with ease. carrie also put that intensity into every word pushing power out that lauren couldn't do. the studio version takes away from it toning it down but there's no question who has more power in the voice when talking
@Eliviner about vocal power. The live singing says it all. this is in no way putting lauren down though as she's quite a good singer. :) it's hard singing a song that requires the bottomless lungs that carrie has. props to her for being able to sing through it :)

Just a fantastic, awesome album. Wonderfully produced. Definitely in my top ten all time favorite albums. An absolute joy to listen to. This comes from a guy who grew up on classic rock and soul music.
