Tourists in Namibia are frequently involved in single-vehicle accidents because of excessive speed and lack of familiarity with local road conditions. Particular care should be taken on Namibia's gravel roads. Other road hazards include poor local driving practices, lack of street lighting, inadequately maintained vehicles, and wild animals or livestock straying onto roads.
Bring plenty of spares and know how to fix a flat. I spent 7 days in the Namib back in 2007. Lot of flat tires, but an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Thanks for a great video and great trip. I love driving & camping here in Saudi Arabia and I have done two trips in both Libia and Mali.
I wonder if this car or similar 4x4 is available for rent in Namibia cause I am thinking of a trip there since 2000.

I could just imagine getting stuck out there with no one else around.
