@carthwolf no jund charm deals damage to each creature not one specific creature.
For example, if a creature has protection from white and someone cast day of judgement the creature still dies because it does not say target all creatures and destroy them. I was wrong about it targeting a player though
@triplemrc Protection protects a creature from damage and targeting. Jund charm deals 2 DAMAGE to each creature. Wrath of God or Day of Judgment dont deal damage. They just flat out DESTROY every creature. The words here are very important in understanding magic rules.
At 5.00, if you would have unearthed the anathemancer, wouldn't you have won? He was at 3, so he would have had to sac the Tender, leaving him with one blocker, and you beating in for 3 and 2, then he would blocked the Finks, go to one and die on his upkeep. Correct me if i'm wrong.
At 1:28 did your opponent just Block and Sac? I thought that the new rule changes in M10 took that away from us? This vid was in May...was M10 out at that time?
Because you never know when you might need removal. The biggest mistake bad players make is using removal to early when there isnt a need. He can just block the creature and be fine with the trade. he has inevitability and might need those purges for cards like anathemancer.
the persist ability will activate again so long as the condition are filled, and does glorious anthym affect all creatures you control or your white creatures
why not to play the anathemancer the turn that you attackedd with the 3/2 finks? You obligate him to sacrifice burreton and he only had 1 blocker (faerie token) for your two attaackers, and you could have left him to 1 live, with blossom on table.
What you should have done was seach for a source of green when your anathemancer got path to exiled. You had finks in your hand when this happened, so you should have happily searched for your green source. reason?
you'll notice the tape stopped at that momment. I got caught up talking that i grabbed the wrong land. When i noticed i grabbed the wrong land the video was already recording so i didnt want to go back and take it back.
its funny wen sum1 makes a stupid comment on ur video cos u just just go, dumass, these r the facts, dont leave comments if u dont know wat u r talking about
This ain't a big thing but when you Unearth Anathemancer, you CAN swing with it but it's pointless because Forge-tender's sac ability prevents all damage from that source. :P GG.
Since both of you are trying to describe what your doing during the game, doesn that affect each other's game decisions? It would be good if you two played a regular game, and just basically pause the video at each point of action and do audio commentaries at what you were thinking at the time.
Guys, this is more of a demonstration, its kinda like when your teaching a new player how to play, and they ask you, how does this work, and then they show you. And to make it easier on them you play as if you didnt know (like they show u removal or something). Its just helpful to the audience
Thoughts on Viashino Slaughtermaster for the Jund deck? I guess Leech is better in the early game, but when it gets mid/late game you'd have a mana sink instead of a life sink (though you already have Colossus for that). Oh well I like them both (leech & master).
Great video, you should try to keep up this "series" with other match-ups. By that I mean, try to show people how other standard decks do against various competitive decks. (I.E, GW Tokens vs. 5CC, Bant vs. TurboFog etc.)
This was to show some interactions between board games and to show how a match up might play out. I personally feel this match up is 50/50 for both decks as you can see the game came very close.
where can i get a play mate like that one

It will be a very good deck yes. Tier 1 is difficult to say till we get actual tournaments to draw from.

carthwolf 2 years ago
Actually No.
1. I cant cast the Finks as my mana doesnt make that sort of color combination.
2. Using Jund Charm to kill 1 guy isnt worth it at this stage.
When i say something like that there is a reason. look at the board state, figure out the plays. Than Comment.
