Scolars do not have the freedom to tell what they want, they must obey the higher command. Our history is already a big lie, archeological discoveries have been proving this. Freemasons are the filth of the earth...
please THERE IS A WAR GOING ON OUTSIDE!!!! fuck this shit they are already dead. people dying right right now! save them if u can and bring the troops home.
@thull21 U FAIL to realize that the brutality that they speak of in these old bones is the same brutality that many today go through. and in a thousand years they will find our bones and say, wow they were brutal back then. maybe even so brutal that when all the bombs hit, there will be no bones at all.
@DJSIMPLYP So again your saying there's no point in learning our own history? That nothing can be taken from past events and applied to the current, so your belief is that it is better to have no recorded of history than to have a complete one? This is what i am getting out of what your saying. I'm just trying to understand why you think this way.
@thull21 firstly i never said that. secondly history is very subjective. "history is written by the victors" remember that. thirdly, although u r correct, the fact that these brutal killings still go on today, almost disproves your mickey mouse view that we can learn from this. wake up!! we havent come very far, we are still at war and if we keep going in this direction there will be no bones to find. have u heard of lybia/afghanistan/iraq? u can find a pile of bones there too.
@DJSIMPLYP so again you are saying we have nothing to learn from history so long as we are still at war. so what do you suggest we do? Stop documenting historical find and what? what is the point of what your saying what are are you getting at? if you can't answer that you have nothing to say!
@thull21 well if we supposedly learn from our past, then we havent learned much, is the point im trying to make. im saying yes there is no point in digging up killin fields when there technically are not a part of "history" b/c it still goes on today. also your comment about recorded history. very unreliable, u must understand that "the victors write history." its all about perspective bro, big picture. understand that the history u read in school is fucked up.
@DJSIMPLYP So again you keep complaining about the way history is documented and recorded and saying that we haven't learned anything which might be the case. so what do you suggest? that we stop recorded our history for future generations. The big picture is that in order to know who you are you need to learn who you were, and as a species we are still in our adolescence so yes we are still making childish mistakes any kid would make.
but to say we haven't come far from a time when life was so cheap that wholesale slaughter by the thousands was still a normal thing nothing of any real significance is still mistaken. And yes the history that you learn in school is abridged and fucked up But your talking to a guy who plans on making human history a career. You need to step out of the high school class room and begin to learn it on your own for an unbiased look. I'm done talking to you.
i'm actually planning a career in teaching as well, with one yr left in my undergrad and one of my majors happen to be in history. tutoring a grade 7 history lesson, i found the textbook to be oversimplistic stating merchantilism as the reason for european settlement in north america. only after doing 3rd yr canadian history course i learn there were millions of natives at the time. most ppl will never sit in a university level canadian history course and think, where are all the natives?
You know this is getting tiresome and so far you have yet to make a statement that has any bearing on my question,
"please THERE IS A WAR GOING ON OUTSIDE!!!! fuck this shit they are already dead. people dying right right now! save them if u can and bring the troops home."
This is your comment, Explain your point! Your idea behind this comment.
Why does everyone ruin my favourite subject, the subject I love with a passion, with pointless, overly generalised statements regarding their advocacay or otherwise, of religion.
If you studied history looking with an open mind for ways how the messengers of God have positively influenced the world, I think you'd see some of the countless ways.
For example you can thank Islam for uniting the all tribes of that area and having them get along well enough for them to establish the first universities, where they developed modern medicine, chemistry, algebra, etc.
A lot of you can easily measure, and some of it is harder.
The books seem to contraditct themselves because you can't have the same solution for every problem. Parts are relative. Jesus said for the person that has not sinned to cast the first stone, not to stone people for working on Sundays. Have you ever tried to measure the good done by people that believe in God and his books instead of just thinking about the killing people have falsely done in the name of religion? Ever thought about how much civilization has advanced because of these Books?
@rynther that has nothing to do with true religion, that has to do with superstition, failure to use our God given senses of critical thinking, proper investigation.. etc.
The moment you stop questioning the real impact of faith based thinking, because you want to focus on the good, but ignore or deny the bad, you've gone into the land of the delusional.
Define 'true religion' for me, I'd like to know what that means.
Did it say that people should have a military in the Bible or Quran? Or did it say to not kill people in the Bible and Quran? If they killed people because of what they believed, would it be because they were following what it said in the Bible or Quran? Or because they weren't following it?
If you look it from your modern century XXI point of view, you won´t understand. Have you ask yourself, by chance they didn´t like to die for their gods or their beliefs?
Today,If you would look at it from the point of view of a person living in the Sudan, or experiencing torture in Iraq.. you would understand torture and hate
I believe that most of the so called victums may have actually fought for the "honor". Also as a warrior society they would have placed great value on dying well. this culture is far mre complex han simply sacraficing enimies to the God's. It also is an important aspect of S.American history/culture. Never close your mind so far as to leave no hope for a ray of light to shine through...CJM
@ihatereligiousppl yes, its better to force them to work and then gas them as the germans in ww2! right? Or water board them 200 times like the ameicans!
If anyone has some cool vids on the giant bones found in peru please send me a link I would like to look into it

Where is the archaeological or historical evidence
for the slaughter of the firstborn of Egypt?
Or for the much more recent slaughter of baby boys
in Judea, under Herod?
Isn't it odd that Josephus and his peers
could tell us what kind of cup Herod drank from,
but didn't notice the slaughter of a few thousand babies?
The Bible is a book of bronze-age myth.
Nothing more.

Why dont they just kill the victims swiftly?
Why must they TORMENT the poor fellas with a slow n agonising death?
What's the point of all this rituals? Just to make their bloodthirsty n sadistic Gods happy n contented?
DISGUSTING CIVILIZATION!

I don't know. Why did Hitler kill all of those Jews the way he did? Does the hate spring from the belief, or the belief from the hate?
Human nature is an ugly thing, no matter what context its in. This kind of brutality isn't isolated to the ancient Peruvians, alone.
