  • Manufacturers recommend 2 persons always for safety. If an accident occurs and you were not using the equipment correctly as per manufacturer recommendations, you increase your liability for negligently disregarding this recommendation.

  • I luv this dem. but don't you need a buddy help wen you laying the patient down? Just wanna know more about this lift 

  • @ninah274 There are different rules and/or laws regarding lift procedures. Some states have “no lift” laws in place, and some facilities even in states that do not have such a law may have no-lift policies. However, there are many places where physical therapy personnel are expected to use the Hoyer Lift using just one person, which is why we teach it that way. If the person has additional help, that makes it even easier to use the lift!
