@kailasfreak Thanks for pointing that out. I have asked several others through the years and no one pointed it out. I think that the translation you have makes a big difference. I looked it up and my Gita and it was translated in a way that I could not get that exact meaning out of it. Found a website that has 4 translations next to each other and they were all quite different. Anyway, I'm not one to put blame on Oppenheimer for what he did, but he's still is a communist.That's unforgivable.

Ironically, he is constantly quoting the Bible is his talks and written work. So it's no surprise to see a communist doing the same. Actually, the word Lord Krishna used was "Kala"- which means both time and death.

The actual translation reads something like-" Now I am become Kala, I've grown old to destroy the worlds...Embarked on the course of annihilation."

Of course, It sounds much better in Sanskrit.
