1978 (I was a junior in high school) is my favorite Dead year, and this is my favorite 1978 concert, though the Scarlet Fire from New Years Eve 78 to 79 is also simply tremendous....I can remember going to shows in this timeframe; the Dead were generally not considered a "super group" like they were ten years later, but it seemed to me that where I grew up in Monmouth County New Jersey there was a level of excitement and enthusiasm among the fans & the band that made this a special time.
Set One Bertha > Good Lovin' ; Dire Wolf ; El Paso; It Must Have Been The Roses ; New Minglewood Blues ; Ramble On Rose ; The Promised Land ; Deal Set Two Samson And Delilah; Ship Of Fools; Estimated Prophet > The Other One > Eyes Of The World > Drums > Space > Wharf Rat > Franklin's Tower > Sugar Magnoli Encore Terrapin Station > One More Saturday Night; Werewolves Of London Here is a setlist for this show. If you have an audio recording of this show please post at archive.org
They walked on stage about 7:20 PM, and didn't walk off for the last time until almost 2 AM. The location is surreal anyway, and I remember the moon's being full (although time may have distorted that particular memory). When they came out for the "Werewolves of London" final encore, Bobby was wearing a werewolf mask and howled at the moon! A fitting end to an incredible night.
Hip that I am wearing a tshirt with this very show on it right now. ;)

nevermind, I was able to find a downloadable version on archive.org but the setlist still could be of value for easier listening
