I had to change the door handles to round ones on doors I didn't want him to open. Any door I don't mind if he opens he opens them all daily!

They are more demanding than a regular cat! But each one is different. My boy bengal (the one in this video) is an angel! My other bengal is a little terror and eats the carpet (which I am going to have to replace), eats any cords she can find (which means buying lots of new electronics), and many other annoying things. But they are lovely cats. It's hard to say if they would work for everyone.

Your cat is absolutely gorgeous! lol they are very playful animals despite the false assumption that they're lazy. Far from it! My kitty Emma is a 2 year old maine coon that never stops playing and she is the sunshine of my world, she's so sweet but bratty as well. :P

It is a bengal cat (part asian leopard cat). You can get them from breeders all over the world.

A bengal would be a tough first animal but they are a lot of fun if you have the time and patience to give them. As long as your parents are willing to help you you could possibly make it work. Go and spend a day with a breeder to see how crazy they are and if you think you could handle it.

Are these types of cats expensive? I know they are part wild and need ALOT of love attention and toys! haha. But I also heard they can cost quite a bit...is that true?

They are great aren't they. And yes they are kinda expensive. They seem to go for between $500 to anywhere up to $2000 (which is breeder/show kitten) My two were about 600 and 800.

Bengals are definitely a handful!Lily unfortunately has taken to eating the stairs...so house not in one piece & shes clawed up some couches. They can meow very loudly when they want to (Leo does when he gets lost in the house.) Leo doesn't like strangers (I wish he would) but lily loves everyone. They dont keep me awake and curl up in bed with me.

These are just my bengals and each has a different personality (which both of mine are very different from each other.) They do sleep...sometimes!
