If this mythical planet was to collide with the Earth in 2 years it should be well within the orbit of Saturn by now and therefore visible to observers on Earth.
Even if (for some unknown reason)not visible it should have had very real and measurable effects on the orbits of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn as it crossed their orbits. So far nothing has been seen or measured.

With even my modest 6 inch newtonian reflector I can get decent views of Saturn. Many small asteroids and comets are routinely found by amature astronomers. surely a planet close enough to cause damage on earth in 2 years should be visible to the naked eye by now.
