  • Not to be result oriented or something like that, but i think Racener had a pretty easy call there w/ his AKo. Thorson shoves ~ 30bb which is a very large number of bb's to shove - not a shortstack imo. But maybe John read that as a strong thing, but it could easily have been a week hand (you know a hand where he has a flip, QQ, JJ)

    He was in a good enough position to fold there and didn't want to put such a large portion of his stack at risk over what was likely to be a coin flip.

    May well think that Thorson's done so well, he won't want to risk it so easily as well so may put him on a big hand anyway.
