I am against wearing endangered animal fur but as you said it was a gift, the coat itself is about older than Pete is, Pete never killed it or said: "I want this fur! I want you to kill this animal" so Pete is innocent. I dont blame him for wearing it, it's a beautiful coat, from a beautiful animal and he would truly show disregard if he threw the coat away not just for the monkey that died for it but his husband who would've spent lots!
