1000cc bikes go at around 190 miles ph (305.775 kmph ) In india even cars are not allowed to go that fast.. p220 dtsi is 220cc and goes at a top speed of 140 kmph which is perfect for Indian roads. We guys also have r1's ninja's etc. if a p220 takes 20 min to travel 10 km in bangalore. r1 would take the same time due to traffic. Suzuki sells hayabusa. yamaha sells r1, Kawasaki with tie up with bajaj sells ninja, Harley davidson is entering indian market. Dont assume things.

By the way, my dad's company is the one who manufacturers the DTSi engine for Bajaj in Pune. I have personally seen 1100cc Bajaj prototype that will smoke most super bikes out there. Although such a bike won't be released for at least for the next 3 yrs.

Yes we'd all like to get a real bike but in the third world a 200 is big time. anything above that is only for the super rich or drug dealers.
