If all you have is type 1, it is still secreting lots of things: amylase, lipase, glucagon, trypsinogen, chymotrypsinogen, and more!

I had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for three and a half years when I developed pancreatitis... you don't know how much worse it could be!

Or made you do and that's why you make nice to the pancreas at the end?
