  • That elevator sounds like a Schindler, and like a Shindler, it dings right when you start moving. Is that elevator a Schindler??

  • My school is waaaayyyy slower than that

  • sometimes schindlers can be slow from time to time

  • Check out my response to this. This is definitely not the slowest. Mine by far is WAY slower. It actually is so slow that you almost can't tell you are moving

  • That is not that slow...

  • its a schindler! THOSE THINGS ARE TOTALLY SLOW

  • its a frekin dover for cryin out loud

  • no this cant be the slowest, at the macys in ross park it takes 20 seconds to get from 1 to 2 now thats not right, at Our Cathedral of Learning it takes 20 seconds to get from 1 to 36 now thats how it should be

  • Search:

    "meredith traction"

TWICE as slow as this elevator. It's not as slow as some of the LULA machines others posted.

  • Try an old Otis Single Speed Traction elevator that takes 1 minute to move 2.4 meters (1 level), or 2 1/2 minutes to travel 2 levels (6 meters)

  • You haven't seen anything yet. Try riding a Concord LULA elevator that goes less then 20 FPM. This elevator goes ~50 FPM

  • It took me 15 minutes to go down one floor in Ipswich station Australia. No joke

  • JCPenneys in Santa Rosa, it takes about 15 seconds to go up one floor

  • The ones in the Channelside Bay Plaza parking garages are slow as hell.

  • I have been in an otis piece of **** once that was stuck in level mode all the way down - 5 floors - and it was moving about an inch every few seconds (I could tell because it has a rear glass wall). I would call it the only scenic elevator that is so slow that said scenery becomes boring.

  • I was in an elevator who consumes 4 seconds to go one meter... It's really true!

  • I love that some of you actually know what BRANDS of elevators are more slow/unreliable! Talk about doing your research!

  • The majority of comments I've gotten on this video have totally cracked me up. Apparently nobody on youtube has ever seen/heard someone be facetious before.

It's a joke people. I recorded the video for some friends at work that think our elevator is slow (comparably it's not).

...Yes... I'm sure there are slower elevators in the world, props for pointing out the obvious, but you have to admit that taking 30 seconds (literally, check the video) to scale only two floors is pretty damn slow.

  • Are you kidding? I've seen slower.

  • I've seen a lot slower than that! Try going to Shea Stadium where the NYC Mets play. The elevator to the Diamond Club restaurant goes from G-6, although 5 and 6 are locked. It literly takes 2 1/2 minutes to go up from G to4. All it has is G, 2, 3, and 4! It is a lot slower than that!!!

  • slow realy slow!

  • Barnes & Noble takes an entire minute to scale 1 floor. So slow I actually fell asleep in the elevator.

  • The ones in the CTI building are THE WORST

  • looks fast to me, i got one in my home that is much slower than that, lol.

  • The Schindler 330A is notorious for being slow. I've ridden one that is much slow than that, taking 45 seconds to climb one floor.

  • By the way, that is one of the faster Schindler Elevators.

  • musicfreakcc - You probably like Otis right? BTW -330A is the slowest schindler ever released. The 700 series is probably the fastest, could beat any crappy otis.

  • Kone makes the worlds slowest and most unreliable elevators in the world, believe me...

  • thats not very slow
