  • Hopefully they were able to hit a few sites with one truckload!

  • cemex

  • i think 3 yards is all mixers haul a few years back my dad had 9 yards poured an it came in three trucks the ones we got here a lil diff not as many axles

  • thats how they deliver concrete, no matter how little you need.. only other option is to mix it yourself

  • It's good to have a lot of axles to distribute the load. Very nice on construction sites where the soil you drive on often is soft and can't take much weight.

  • Just be sure that the concrete has some retardant in it and that it is not older than 3 hours

  • Concrete mixing trucks come in one size...if you order 1 yard or 10...this is the truck that has to bring it.

  • I can mix concrete, not 3 yards though

  • Thomas Redi-Mix says they ain't gonna get no more over weight tickets this way...lol

  • lol my parents own a ready mix company and we have to of those lol

  • haha screw up your lawn

  • I live in central eastern nc. we have the same trucks here .that truck is used for big jobs. i'm shure he was dispached to the job with left over crete on board. hehe,, better to sell it then to wash it out at the reclaimer at the plant.. =)

  • That thing would be great for doin basements and what not, alotta flotation, ud have a hard time sinkin that thing

  • Overkill is better than underkill anyday...no probs with this...

  • might have been so it would no sink in the mud...since they were dropping it near a pond it looked like....

  • @horseguy1

at least somebody think before typing : )

maybe the owner is clever too....

  • looks like it had to much taco bell to eat

  • I HOPE HE DON'T TAKE THAT ON TOLL ROADS WITH ALL THEM AXLES

  • those bastards are fun when htey get stuck. i had to pull one out before using a d9 ( d9 was the only thing we had that would pull it. tried with the backhoe tractor thing. it did nothing but pop wheelies. the d9 pulled truck out liek it was a toyota prius

  • NC weight laws suck, a tri-axle could probably haul as much or more in SC than that truck can in NC

  • how many yards does it carry fully loaded?

  • @freeskakel 10 I'm pretty sure

  • You can only have so much lbs of the load per axle group. So the more axles you have the more of a load you can carry as long as you stay under the weight limit.

  • the driver probably had 3 yds left over from a big job! So you are getting leftover concrete! I used to drive mixer.

  • @trashratt

You beat me to it. That's exactly what I was thinkin.

  • @trashratt I pored my Shop floor with leftover Mud from a Freeway project. Close to 6 Yards for free. Tipped the Driver $100. I was good friends with the Dispatcher.

  • caminhao da hora

  • drop axles is to even distribute the weight of what you are hauling.

  • No u need drop axles for supporting the load when ur loaded it helps keep alot of presure off the tires when loaded

  • Same thing happens to us small job with little concrete but they bring a huge truck.

  • Now that is a mixer!

  • what are those drop axels for

  • @snowmobiler69 For spreading load when going over bridges I think.

  • @MissouriEarthMovers why would you need to spread the load over bridges? what kind of bridges do you drive on

  • Must be some leadcrete or something.

  • You think that truck has the same engine as your kenworth or bigger?

  • copy cat! lol

  • Wow that big of a truck for 3yards of concrete.

    Kyle

  • Holy crap.

  • Now thats a big truck.

  • That's a big concrete truck. I can't believe they sent that with 3 cu yards. What a waste of equipment. - - - I bet that company is run by the government. lol

  • hop[e its big enough
