I've met Rik a couple of times. He is a fantastic guitarist and a genuine nice guy. I saw him play solo and after taking a break, came back on stage and asked "Any requests?" and I shouted out "Little Boy Blues" at the top of my lungs and much to my amazement and appreciation he played it!
Could someone PLEEZE make a video of how to play this?? I have been searching for a video on this song and surprisingly no one seems to like it enough to do a lesson. What an awesome song!
This was from Thunder Seven, a great album, start to finish. You have to remember in '84, SRV had just hit the scene so blues were making a big comeback. Rik just showed he could hang with the best of'em. I would've really liked to have seen Rik & Stevie go at it.
One of my favorite Triumph songs....Rik is so versatile
I saw Rik years later in concert and he played Little Wing...I would love to have a copy of that...it was soooo good
