Nice vid... the stang definetely had the advantage off the line. The Z06 bogs at the same time has a tall 1st gear to wind out, all while the mustang hooks up 1st gear, slams 2nd, and has a decent car length by the time the Z0 hits 2nd at the last ad sign in the background (:34 sec). nice race.

@Amitls8 Track conditions were not ideal... upper 40s, crosswinds, cloudy... track was very slippery... both cars would run high 11s on a good day. The 'Stang puts 426 HP to the wheels, so don't think that Z06 would magically blow it away. ;)

@TwiztedTurbo My stang has 350,000 miles on the stock motor and the tranny has only been rebuilt once...my good buddies dad is a master mechanic and he also thinks the best car out there is chevy...because if chevy didn't exist, he would have nothing to work on!!! He thanks God everyday for chevy. If they made more reliable cars, they wouldn't have to be bailed out, huh? The reality of it is Ford > Chevy. Period.

@Amitls8 Thats true! hahahah.... Was able to do a 12.5 Secs with Trap Speed of 121 mph on street using an accelerometer, it was 88*F temp and 54% humidity. But with a great driver and good conditions it can do low 11s and I think the record for stock C6ZO6 with stock wheels is high 10s.
