I really like Mattie Larson, however she has signed on to compete as a college gymnast for 2012, and Im afraid that the lower level of training she will be doing in college will cause her to gain some weight and take her out of olympic shape. I really hope that doesnt happen, but gymnasts who go from elite to college training usually lose their olympic-level form.
@pshsindians Yes I think Usa have reaally great gymnasts just need some bar workers,,,,,I Love Bridgett too.... Hopefully Usa will win gold medal on 2021 :D
@pshsindians Yes! that is something important last year she went to the Pan American Games in Mexico with Kayla Ross and some others so we can say she is a little experienced....I think it should be great to see how she works on the 2011 Worlds and realized if she can or not deal with the pressure. They also have a tradition of not doing great during the world events but when it comes to crunch time like to olympic games they surprisingly give a powerful performance that sends them to the podium. USA and russia will have to settle for silver or bronze and China would again be overwhelmed by the fact that it is not their home court and falter under the pressure. Canada, is like you said, a newcomer and still inexperienced. They might be in the top 6.

I agree with you. This video doesn't show all of Russia's up and coming talent and this video doesn't show none of the up and coming Chinese talent beside Cui Jui. Martha will have to be careful coming into London because we can't afford to have half of our Olympic team injured.
@Smielyb2000 i think if you so much as have a cold the day before the 2012 olympics, marta will send you home and switch out for an alternate. most great USA gymnast are hurt or have been hurt badly in the past so that will definitely help some because although it's a bad situation, it'll force them to pace themselves instead of going all out like Russia right now.
yes its true that usa will compete in its brother country england but i think that russia with the beautiful performances will give less deductions. this olympic games all the medals will be very competitive anybody cans get the gold

The only thing with mckayla maroney is that she hasnt been to Worlds or olympics
so she doesnt know how to deal with the pressure or maybe the question is can she handle the pressure!
Birgett shawn and Alicia have been to worlds and the olympics so they might be ready more mentally and physically than everyone else!
