I had people from Romania...ROMANIA... tell me to get out of Binghamton because it'll kill me. Forget "Little Soho"... we're "Little Detroit", aren't we? I was born in raised in the Bing. Have been out of there since 2006. Everytime I go back to visit my parents it looks worse and worse. I am scared to go to Wise and Price Chopper b/c all of the crackheads and weirdo's that frequent the area. All I can say is get out if you can and never look back.
Maybe poeple should take pride in their neighborhoods and stop expecting the goverment to wipe their asses! Take sum pride in themselves! Do we need the government to show us how to use our arms to pick up garbage? or how to use a windex bottle? you can give China to a Pig multiple times and Everytime , hes gonna break up in pieces!
Obviously it wont happen overnight...I really hate how all the scumbags who live in this district are the only reason that its so dirty and has a high crime rate...and yet the mayor gets blamed for it even though hes trying to clean it up...I know that you definitely would not be able to even compete with ANY mayor let alone do a better job
@poonkinator I agree, why keep putting money in a neighborhood with the people who lives in it wont take of it! You build a new park, and all the kids ransack it, you put up a new building, they graffitti it, you put in new businesses, and the windows get broken out, not to mention homes that get destroyed! Its like giving a gift to an ungrateful child, you hand it to him and he just destroys it , then complains about not having a gift and wants another! The mentality has to change first!
