I dunno...

With all of the biological weapons they've developed now, and things like EMP weapons and such, it seems to me nukes could soon be obsolete as weaponry. Why drop a nuke and contaminate the land and surrounding areas for thousands of years, when you could just drop a few bio bombs of plague and wipe the people out, leaving the land intact. All you'd have to have is the antedote (sp) to save your own people.

The point is that the ONLY country in the middle east that does have NUCLEAR WEAPONS is the terrorist state of Isreal. when the npt was signed the countries without nuclear weapons said they wouldn't develop nuclear weapons and the countries with nuclear weapons would make 'a good faith effort' to eliminate nuclear weapons, the problem is that 'a good faith effort' is very vague and therefore the status quo.
