They installed one on a mini van on Pimp My Ride and it does work. I hate they idea of having speakers underneath the car though. If you were to hit a huge bump on dip in the rode and bottom out the speakers would be damaged, of if you were to go on a dirt road, you would start having rocks bang up on the underside of the car.

dude, I'm proud to say that i've never driven a Jap car in my life. I'm perfectly satisfied with my 200 Horse V6 Firebird. Yeah it may not be a Corvette ZO6, but it can hold its own against just about any tuner some acne covered High school kid can throw together with his weekly allowance.
