I don't think i've had such fun with a novel in a very long time. I've yet to read Perchance to Dream but i certainly am looking forward to it; i think Mantchev has created a highly original and exciting universe, and some great characters too
I just finished this book yesterday and loved it! i very much agree with your 4.5 rating. i loved the setting of this book because it was so original! I'm going to start perchance to dream really soon. and i like to think that the setting is a while ago cause there is like counts and dukes and stuff so i find that more fitting in the past then the present.
i also would like to recommend a book if you haven't read it. it's called "city of bones" by cassandra clare. it was awesome

It's like with the A Series of Unfortunate Events series--you never really know what time period or where it's taking place.
