There is plenty out there if you look, on how he stopped taking drugs in 1970. This video is overrated. Reinhard Selten and John Harsanyi also won that same noble prize for economics for the gametheory. This is not mentioned in this video; Very Cheap. And Richard Selten and Harsanyi also did other brilliant work besides Nash. Not to mention there are dozens of other brilliant minds in mathematics that have made greater contributions to the 20 century than nash has.

Nasar wrote that Nash wasn't fired, he resigned on his own volition and against the pleading of the MIT department (because he was crazy).

Also Nash greatly came unraveled in early 1959 (not 1985), and didn't show great improvement until the 1980s and most notably in the early 90s.
