Actually he didn't overdose is what I heard, but he had enough heroine in him to kill a horse. As far as his death there are two rumors I know of. 1. He shot himself because Nirvana got to corporate. 2. His wife shot him.

I did a HUGE research paper about this last year. What is documented is shot up ALOT of heroine, and then killed himself with a 12 gage. But the amount of heroine he shot up was enough to leave him in a coma within seconds. This was not enough time to clean off the needle and put it in a case across the room (as it was found) and THEN kill himself. With This along with MANY other things, i have proven without a doubt in my mind, that he was murdered. If you want more info message me on here...

I have always been on middle ground on this subject, because both theories make sense, this is the first time I hear that after he took heroin (which i knew) he set it in a case and then killed himself. I would have to agree with you that I think he was murdered. Obviously I dont know for sure but Ive done a bit of research myself and a person with that much heroin this their system couldnt have been capable of anything really. Im sure he had quite high tolerance, but seriously! It was like four times the amount that would kill you.
