I remember when this song came out. There was a revolution that swept the

world! We have had enough of oppression and abuse! Thank goodness for this

song!

@elliculucille women really stepping up, speaking out, and showing solidarity against oppression, domestic abuse, against the "good ol boy" club that tried to stifle us. The 70s opened alot of doors that had previously been closed to women.
