Pitbulls have a high pain tolerance, plus, I doubt that isn't hurting him. Pitbulls are also great family dogs, they were originally bred to be game dogs, and to be family dogs, about 97% of them can be left alone with a new born baby, and you have nothing to fear.

Hardly the fact, all dogs are predictable, it is simply human error and negligence, as well as ignorance that stems these bites and/or attacks. People simply do not pay attention to dog body language and /or signals.

ANY dog breed can become aggresive,throughout my family there are 5 rottweilers and 4 pittbulls,
and we have never had a problem with any of them
it's how their trained and how smart the owners are,
genes have very little to do with it.

Genetics do play a role. Most dogs that are poorly bred, will have poor temperments. Overbreeding and popularity has caused this breeds demise.

Not if it's owner had any brains and trained it. Although it wouldn't take much training, since Pit bulls are by nature very sweet and loving dogs. Now I wouldn't be shocked if a small dog, like a Yorkie or something similair in size attacked the kid.

actually a pit bulls were breed to be guard and attack dogs in ancient times but yes hwen traind properly pitbulls can be very sweet lovin dogs but that is true with any dog

Not true. I do not condone leaving a child alone with any dog. Pit Bulls were bred to tolerate and ignore pain. This makes them able to withstand the torture of children, provided they are well bred and retain this trait.

well thats a bit harsh not saying what they did is right nor wrong but yea they should consider having more respect for a dog that size for the sake of the baby and the dog itself. its still a creature not a slave it needs to be with the family something i stress to my parents at times. but be advised this edges dogs to attack and thne ultamately get put down.
